Meadowstone Motel - Motel in North Haven - 630 Washington Ave, USA

Terrible. • No toilet paper. • No towels of any size or material. • Room was supposed to have a microwave, it didn't • The mini fridge compressor was busted, so that was warm - ended up having to throw food out cuz it went bad, cuz... couldn't get the "owner" to pick up his phone or respond to messages to get a different fridge or room.. • No garbage can. • No rug to wipe off feet when coming into the room. • No way to sweep or vacuum up all the dirt you inevitably track in. • The tv was trash & had no remote. • The door had a gap between the wall & the doorway - that I could peep through- & clearly see what's up outside. • that gives cold air plenty of opportunity to sneak in, especially at the bottom of the door jam. • Bathroom window was oddly foam sealed shut with a piece of wood angled so that you couldn't turn the handle to attempt opening it. The owner treated my friend with such hostility. - he was staying there week by week... So I got him some things in attempts to improve the conditions... However- Friday - the day after Thanksgiving - "rent" for the room was due. My friend was waiting for his boss to come pay him for the week. & again, being the Friday morning after Thanksgiving, you'd think that the Owner, Sam, would ¹not be so insensitive & ²give the guy a chance to even get paid, but NO; he forces my friend out & rushed him out of the room in such a manner that he wasn't able to grab the nice floor lamp I JUST purchased. Idk if that's everything that was trash about this "Motel". Deplorable.

Could hear next rooms TV blasting in my tiny room. No direct TV box in room. Only had a rack of 20 of them in office for each channel. CRT TV didn't work. Noisy.
