This place has changed so much since the last time I was there as a kid. I can’t remember it completely but I can say it’s so clean. Went there to bet on the derby, you can also do all your sports betting here! Seems all the lighting is led now, super bright. You have views of MetLife Stadium and The American Dream Mall. Food isn’t bad! It’s also an awesome place to watch the sunset!

I remember going back in the late 80s up till 2003 as I moved from NJ. I remember seeing sam McKee meeting Hollywood Heyden and hall of fame ken warkentin. Always amazing to see them the atmosphere always electric. Remember sitting in the clubhouse for dinner and racing. Sunday was fine during the afternoon wish they bring it back. The track is where legends are made and legends waiting to arrive. Now I sit back in FL and watch and wager online and never miss a broadcast with Jess and Dave little. Miss brower big time and he is looking down so proud. May the track continue to have successful meets. Memories forever

July 2023-Recently visited this place for the first time; it's a pretty newly built place, so it is a modern and a nice facility. Being an avid harness horse racing fan for many years, and that the Meadowlands racetrack is the premier harness racing track throughout the world, I had a great time and very much enjoyed the two day visit. But, I must say though, in regard to food, my group attended the buffet the two evenings we were there. The price was too high. I know the area is considered to be in the NY City area, where pricing can be higher, but the pricing for the quality and variety of food received was def not warranted ($65/person after taxes and fees). I'd say it was literally twice as much as it should have been, plus, the menu both evenings was the same - an obvious move for cost savings, of which I wouldn't have had much of an issue with if the spread would have been up to the quality and standard of the pricing. Don't get me wrong, it was good, not excellent, but $65 good? No, def not. So, overall, if you're a harness racing fan, it's def a must-visit site! I would have given a 5-star rating but just couldn't taking into consideration of the food experience.

They should charge admission as there are too many lowlifes at this location during the day. Feels like a homeless shelter at times. They hog the betting machines with their dime bets. Also, I haven't bet harness racing in over ten years as it's boring and some of the employees there are rude. Why would I support a business like that. I will never go back here.

The only reason for 3 stars was that the waitress and staff were always coming around and asking if you needed anything. Otherwise the manager in charge or his bosses brought out the desserts at 8pm while we been there at 5pm.They had hot apple pie but no ice cream and the desserts use to better. The food was ok and plentiful.

So much fun to go to the racetrack! Wonderful to see the horses to watch the race to enjoy a delicious food. The people who took the bets were very patient with my silly questions and and helpful.There is nothing better than to go relax at the track.I would definitely go again.

My first time back since building the newer grandstands. The terrace level has incredible views of the track and New York skyline. We did not eat the buffet but food looked great and the hallways are filled with the coolest horse pictures. They also have a great spectator area with picnic table if the grandstands aren't for you.
