Mead Public Library - Public library in Sheboygan - 710 N 8th St, USA

We frequent many different libraries in different counties and this was the last library post Covid craze that brought their toys back out in the Children's section. I understand their thought process was "better to be safe than sorry" but other libraries brought their toys out much sooner and didn't seem to have a problem with sanitizing and cleaning them enough to be considered safe. This library does not have very many activities or events for kids/families compared to other libraries and they have metered parking during the week whereas the other libraries we visit don't ever charge for parking. My son and I will often drive an hour or more round trip to other libraries due to them offering more than Mead and it's disappointing because we would much rather frequent our local public library.

Amazing library. Gorgeous outside, spacious and great design on the inside. 3 floors of awesome library. Snack/vending machine table area, kids area on 3rd floor, CD rentals, videos/video game rentals, etc. Lots of computers everywhere!! Lots of areas for privacy/study time. Gorgeous fountain in front.

Least we forget just how wonderful our public library is in our city. I was reminded a couple of weeks ago when friends came to visit. They just couldn't get over just how beautiful and all that it had to offer. I was told over and over that their cities library wasn't even comparable. Our Library is definitely a blessing for all of us to enjoy.

A book I want to read was checked out, the 2nd floor lady offered to have one sent from another library! Also the man on the children's floor was very helpful finding a book, they still have the tokens for the kids to look through the telescope! We love the art displays & the terrace

I have to admit I didn't get inside the library but there art and landscaping is truly aww inspiring and definitely worth checking out is your floating through the area as I seen it as I was driving through and had to stop and take some pictures, down the road it looked like there was a bunch of other cool stuff as well at a park but I didn't stop there this time, next time though it's on my list

What a great library! It is beautiful inside and out. You can rent out activity passes for fun family adventures. Or sneak in the fountain on hot summer days until the police comes down on FUN. The librarians even remember your name sometimes. Like cheers.

Grandkids had a fun time making some Christmas ornaments. Very nice library.

My wife and i have taken family members and friends here. We absolutely love the amount of selections that this local library have. Even though we moved a town over, we still keep coming back here a couple times a month.
