Surprising gem! My opinion is you will rarely find a better presented museum in its class. A surprising variety of antiques and local history, well lit, beautifully displayed, and nicely narrated. It took and held the attention of all the children I had along, even without the discovery of the best model train layout I have seen in years! If you're disappointed after a visit here, it's your fault 😁

The McPherson Museum is a lovely small town museum that has fantastic fossils like giant sloth, saber tooth cat, dire wolf and more, Dr Hershey diamond, Globe Refiners exhibit, first B-Ball team to win gold at Olympics, Chinese pottery, local history and more.

We went an event dponsored by Awaken church called Lego my Lego. My grandchildren loved it. They hot legos, waffles, and saw tg he Lego2 movie.

I went to see a free movie with a friend but toured the museum beforehand. I loved looking at the 3 full skeletons they have to see.

Really enjoyed visiting the museum with my children while in town visiting my grandma. I can't believe I've come here twice a year all my life and never visited the museum. It was great! My 2yo really enjoyed the train exhibit!

What a great facility, especially for a small town! We had our association's annual Christmas luncheon there. It was fun to see all the different displays! Keep up the good work!

Small town museum, but has some pretty cool one of a kind stuff and some rotating exhibits that are interesting. Model Ts, The Art of Voting though the end of February 2021 small but interesting. Worth a stop and nose around.

I had a meeting here and they were very friendly and helpful. The facilities was very clean and well taken care of. I had a moment to walk around and look at a few things and definitely plan to come back for a museum visit!
