Loved the seasonal drinks! The hot buttered rum was delicious for a cold night. Service was very good, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere felt nice and cozy. 4 stars because the steamed clams weren't what I expected. There was a LOT of clam juice in the bowl, it sorta looked like a lot of dirty water and just tasted like clam juice 🫣.
Ate here in July with a large group of extended family visiting from out of state and staying at the Homewood Suites next door. Location is lovely and picturesque, although parking can be difficult. We were seated at 3 tables side-by-side and near large open doors. The view of the river and the breeze was very nice and adds to the charm of the building. Our servers were wonderful, especially with my somewhat demanding boomer era older family members. I slipped some well deserved extra tips on the side to our servers and the hostess for putting up with the "extra" required to keep everyone content. At our table we had the following: veggie burger and tots (not pictured), burger and tots, gyro inspired wrap and tots, fish and Cajun tots, strawberry fields salad with beef tips added, and a kid's meal with mini corn dogs. We also had a variety of alcoholic cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. The food was tasty but over priced, in my opinion. The drinks were well made and the kids enjoyed the Shirley Temples with extra cherries. If you are a hardcore McMenamins fan, like a few in our group who do the whole passport thing and stay in the hotels, than this is the place for you. For a once in a while special meal, I would return if I were in the area. For a regular dining experience with family, I would pass due to the cost. Most of the items purchased by our group were $20-28 per person(not including any kind of drink or dessert), so for me, that is a deal breaker for a random family night out.
Kassidy did an amazing job today, table of six. Food was delicious. Service was epic! Great view. Fun drinks. Nice menu options.
What a great way to spend a sunny day, sitting outside under an umbrella, watching boats on the river, eating good food, and drinking good beer. And if it's raining, the indoor seats by the window provide a good view. I have been here several times and have never felt rushed or ignored or abandoned by a server, and usually they're nice and friendly, if not just in work-mode.
Stored in for dinner found an immediate seat at the bar. Prompt courteous (as always) service Red Wine Beef Stew was perfect for tonight, generous portion and perfectly cooked!
Ive lived in the pnw for 4 years now, after always hearing about the hype of this place I had to give it a try. I was very disappointed to say the least. I placed a order to go on a Saturday at around 5pm, walking into this place it has a lot of potential but I have to say the customer service was very unwelcoming. I grabbed my order ( Fish & Chips ) and headed home. Once I opened my to go order I already knew I was never coming back to this place. Soggy fries & frozen fish is what I got. This plate was also $25 !! I will never be back, there is a lot better places to go in the area.
We went in at 9pm on a Sunday. The hostess and server were obviously exhausted. I tried being friendly with them, but they were bare minimum, business only, not rude, but lacking personality completely. I felt bad for them. The view from the patio, and even inside the restaurant is amazing, looking over the Columbia river. That’s what this place has going for it. The food was some of the worst we’ve had at McMenamins. I normally LOVE the Mystic 18 burger, and have had it at about 10 different locations, but here it was over cooked and dry, yet served lukewarm. The cajun tots cost $1 extra and had barely any spice on them — also served lukewarm. And the hamburger buns were very dry in a stale kind of way. Definitely not worth $20. We felt ripped off, tbh. I recommend going for drinks and the view, but NOT food.
McMenamins are always a fun option for our family. This location provides great views of the Columbia River. The food is good, they have decent sandwiches, burgers and salads. Their appetizers are also very tasty. They brew their own beers and have a nice selection of three ciders plus a seasonal flavor. Their root beer is great too! I just wish there were a few more tables...

Met a friend for a party date with our sons. City play was clean, well kept and the areas weren't run down. They either keep up with the wear and tear from toddlers and young children or it's because the business is brand new. But Im hoping the forme
My favorite hang out spot in downtown, and Iâm not even a huge tea person! The staff are always very kind and clearly very knowledgeable about their craft. Their drink offering is exclusively tea, but itâs very well made, high quality tea both ic

I just ordered the three falafel patties as a snack, but I'll be back soon for more because damn those were amazing! They smelled soooo good before I even took them out. Also they're larger than the falafel patties at most other places I've been to.
Got a kava bowl, acai bowl for the kiddos, and a smoothie. Incredible quality kava and SUPER nice staff that helped me understand things more! Guided me to the best option and helped me choose some options for home as well. Fantastic place and lookin
