The food was okay even though they didn't get our order right. The server decided to go on break and never come back. She sat down at a table with friends and seemed okay with knowing we were no longer getting service. We never got our order corrected, nor the chance to order more drinks. We finally got someone flagged down to pay the check. He seemed very upset with how we were treated and comped our entire meal. This saved this review from being 1 star. It's hard to find great service these days.
I was early to see Les Claypool and the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade. I chose to have the steak sandwich and fries with the aioli garlic dipping sauce and a Hammerhead IPA. The food was delicious and well portioned, but I wished I had a steak knife, which I never asked for, but made due with a butter knife. The service was excellent and professional. The cleanliness was spot on, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely suggest eating here with a group, but single diners are welcome as well.
No two McMenamin’s is alike. This one is pretty damn good. The kitchen is really well run and consistently puts out great food. When it’s in season the elk burger is great. The bar is spot on. Never a poorly made drink. The service though is erratic. You can get a good server there but consider yourself lucky. They’re more concerned while talking or playing with their phones or acting surprised when you have to ask for utensils while your food gets cold or, well you get the idea. If this place could get a strong front manager they’d be excellent but I haven’t been there in a month so perhaps they have. Anyway, try it regardless. The food, drinks and atmosphere are worth it.
My wife called in to get a couple orders of Cajun tots to complement our dinner. We appreciate the fact that they were open during the snowstorm. Friendly staff!
I loved the atmosphere. I'm from a Masonic family, so the whole experience of dining in a old Lodge was cool. I ordered the Hoke Poke Nachos and my chips were stale so they didn't charge me for them, even though I did eat the tuna, which was nice. The staff was very attentive and took care of us. I'd definitely go back again.
Ordered "Ferryman's Braised Short Ribs" for $38.50. This was executed very poorly; food tasted good, but received only a single 4oz piece of meat and a large bone on a bed of mashed potatoes. Came with two small carrots that were indiscernible from the gravy. When I brought it to the attention of the server, he assured me there was no mistake in the dish and offered to charge me for additional meat. They agreed to knock off the cost of the appetizer- which was appreciated- but doesn't change my opinion. The server did a great job, but managers choice and kitchen need to be looked at.
McMenamins! Always a sure bet on everything from atmosphere to food! Service always exceeds the expectations. As an out-of-towner, the Grand Lodge has always been a mainstay, as does their "Ironwork Grill". Even just for drinks at the bar, the peculiar and bizarre setting adds to the adventure and mystique! If you haven't been, try it! If you have, well... you know! Salud! Thanks guys, we'll be back!
Excellent place for a dinner in a themed location, a lot of masonic icons, history and importance... Food is good, beverages are also good and other activities.

Fun spot for craft beer. I didn't order food but enjoyed some great beer suggested by the knowledgeable beertender. In warm weather they open the garage doors and the inside flows out. You can create your own flight, they have smaller pours, wine on
They take special care and pride with the food they service you! I feel like I am going to grandmaâs house for a chat over hot cocoa! I had the delicious strawberry shortcake biscuit, hot chocolate with farm fresh eggs and sausage! It was made with
I'm a Midwestern transplant, and we take our blue collar food like sandwiches deadly serious. Don't mess with them, don't hipsterize them, don't fancy them up. Just make them right, make them big, and make them good. I gotta say, my man here makes a
Iâve been here a few times and decided to try something a little different. My barista was patient with me with learning the menu more. I chose to do an italian soda, and she read off all the flavors for me. I heard huckleberry and thought âoooh
The Waltz always has a chill atmosphere and great beers. Their recent remodel only adds to the comfort of the place, with a lot of new seating, a larger bar and more windows it will continue to be a favorite. PS their new owners are super friendly an
I think one of my parents or aunts and uncles (or maybe it was cousins) had the Jalopy car which I acquired as a young child. I love a good toy that makes fun of poor people.
Sweet family run business, with great and friendly service. Generous portions and fair prices for good food. We decided to get three dishes and share them family style. But I love that the restaurant provides combo plates. Most Asian restaurants aren
Very nice lunch! Loved the spam masubi. Also the mac salad was delicious! I donât know why, but itâs so rarely done right. I only wish I had been given more!
Public swim, what can I say. Rates are reasonable even for out of town pricing. Bring the kids, or don't. Hot tub is relaxing, and sauna is top notch if you need to sweat out the stresses of your workday. Diving board and slide are fun too. Llif
