McKinnon Park in Salinas is a hidden gem! 🌳📚 The park's natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere are perfect for a relaxing day out. What makes it even more special is the free small library where you can pick up a book to read – it adds a charming touch to the experience. 📖🏞️ Highly recommended for a serene escape into nature with a good book in hand
Beautiful park. My son Mason has been coming here since he was 1 years old. Now he's 3 and still till this day .wants to go daily. He has met Amazing kids around his age . That have become his friend and love playing with him. Met amazing parents and also had made some friends. Overall a beautiful park to bring the kids . Just wish they had a restroom.
I have mixed feelings about this park. It has many great features. But it is lacking some care and maintenance. It has a full basketball court, baseball backstop, open field for other sports, a good size play ground and even a Little Free Library. It has a lot of graffiti on the playground. Besides that, I will definitely return. All the people at the park were kind and respectful.
Large field, great for a variety of sports. Playground is not terrible, it unfortunately has a fair amount of graffiti.
Biggest flaw of this park is the lack of public restrooms. Was meeting at this park for soccer practice for my 4 year old girl. Basically needed to miss the entire rest of the practice if someone needed to use the restroom. Closest solution was Target.
I've been going to this park since I was younger, I like the little play structure and it's a nice park to walk around, I always see people playing soccer, football and basketball and walking their dogs so it's a nice park in a good area. I recommend it for a nice walk or if you ever want to play soccer, football and basketball. (:
There is no water fountain. However, there is a basketball court and a baseball diamond. There is also a play structure. It's all pretty old but still very enjoyable. Since the park doubles as an emergency storm drain, it does get flooded and the basketball court gets muddy once in a while. The open field is also a great place for football or soccer.
It's a really awesome park. A really great place to take kids and play soccer. This park has a big field, basketball court, and playground. I also love how there's a place where you can leave books and borrow books.
I really like the park! It takes me back to my middle school/ high school when I use to play basketball on that court, but in all honesty the court is ok! There is some slippery areas at the court and the double rim makes the ball bounce to much!
Scenic and spacious public park that is hugely popular for parties, events, or just BBQing with family and friends. There are a handful of full service picnic shelters with counters, sinks, and BBQ pits for cooking over a wood fire...these must be re

We started here as part of a three winery tour on a Saturday. We were the only people there early in the day, and we had a long visit with the winemaker. The setting is perfection! We loved the wines. We would definitely recommend, and we will defini
