McKinney Inn - Motel in McKinney - 1431 N Tennessee St, USA

I would have rated this motel 5 stars if they would take advance reservations. Who has ever heard of a motel without reservations??? Anyway, the room was very basic and old but very clean, the sheets were crisp and the king bed was awesome. Sketchy characters around but we had no problems. They only charged $10 for the dog (!) and our king room was only $65. Convenient location to Tupps Brewery. This room is not for a priss but those who appreciate a good place to sleep and shower at a reasonable rate will be pleased.

Rooms are outdated , roaches in some , price is fair considering what you get , don't loose the key Bob will have your behind and you have to pay fine and get banned. And the owner will start knocking on doors at 9:30 am to remind you of checkout . Wifi is hardly working but they did get some new cable . It's a last resort to some , but quite a few call it home .

My review stars are because of Shelly she went above and beyond for me and my wife as we stayed there as long as we done what we told her she took care of us and worked with us as much as she could she definitely makes the place a better motel

Roach infected rooms for 60 a night. Dirty towels, roaches everywhere. Do not stay here.

This place goes back in time. It's been around a while. What i like about it is that it's one of the only places around that will allow you to check in 30-60 minutes after checkout so as early as 11:30am sometimes which can be a pretty big deal sometimes. They also aren't particular regarding payment method. The rooms on the south end of the property (i've been in two) were built more recently so they're decent but the rooms on the north end (i've also had two of these) are pretty bad and had roaches. Only hotel to ever give me stained towels that i had to request be exchanged lol but the staff have always been friendly. Be aware of the police department's presence at this place, though! It's pretty hot.

We have been here for 3 months. With the help of owner and staff we have made our suite into a great home away from home. I am very particular about cleanliness and I can tell you there has never been any pest found in our room. They have had a regular exterminator here once a month. The maid goes out of her way to do exactly what you ask. The owner personally came to our room and showed us how to set up our dvd player. Made sure medication that was mailed to us was either given in person or left in our room. They are completely trustworthy. I would recommend this property to anyone needing an extended stay. Remember: You treat people the way you want to be treated. Also, you get what you pay for in most case's.... Hope this helps. J & T

Currently staying here with husband and 5 kids. Its day 3 and no bed bugs or roaches, the floors and carpet are dirty and leave our feet black, but the staff is friendly and gives extra stuff to accommodate. They had pest control come and spray the first day we were here . Water doesn't stay hot and the vent is broken but still runs air and heat. Not a bad stay for a few days but would not stay for too long

Mr Patel came through for us this, Feb2021 Freezemagedon, He was super nice, got a good size room for 70 a night, we never lost power water or heat. No, it’s not the best, but they take pets , rooms are cheap, heat worked, had cable,and it’s quite!! I’m so grateful to the owner for giving us shelter this week AND you can park right in front of your door. And their staff are super nice and accommodating!!!!
