Stayed here last week for their Fenian celebration. Amazing food and service and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was included with the stay so i woke up and got a hot home cooked meal to ease my hangover from the bar the night before. Definitely a 10/10 trip for me.
Our GO TO place in East Durham when we need to get away for a night or two. Old fashion feel, comfortable beds, cute room. Delicious complimentary breakfast. Very friendly staff. Love this place.
Another great stay at McGraths. It was for the Catskills Irish arts week(ciaw). Dermot, Coleen, Seamus and the entire staff worked tirelessly for a packed house all week. Service never wavered and everyone’s needs were met expeditiously. Food was excellent with different menu choices. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was central to all the events that were occurring in East Durham. Highly recommend!
McGraths is by far the best place to stay in East Durham! Beautiful clean rooms, delicious Irish breakfast and pub food, the best live music, and a wonderful friendly staff. Love it there, been going for years!
Fabulous Irish Breakfast, always fresh, eggs made to order, the homemade soda bread is delicious. Our favorite place for breakfast.
We have stayed in McGraths the last few years and hands down the best place in East Durham . The McGrath/Fenlon family treat everyone that walks through their door like family . The Pub no doubt has the best Irish music , the best Guinness and by the end of the night everyone is best of friends. McGrath’s is famous for their Irish breakfast and homemade Irish soda bread. Hands down the best !!!!
Been going to McGrath’s for close to 39 years, there is no place better for hospitality, service, authentic/traditional Irish breakfast, fabulous music, food and fun. If you find yourself on Route 145, make sure to pop in for a pint, it will be life-changing!!!
McGrath's is a family owned and run business. The bar is fantastic with great service. Great live music. And to top off your stay they serve the best Irish breakfast in the Catskills.
I've been to Angel's a handful of times, always for their Mexican breakfast items. The Matador Burrito and the Mexican Breakfast Sandwich were so good! Unlike most diners in the area, everything is seasoned well and very flavorful. We drive 30 minute
