Beautiful historic place. Love the atmosphere. Has a Great Gatsby feel. The food was ok. We had brunch: crab&shrimp melt and the French dip. It was good quality seafood, however, there was no seasoning. Very bland. It was better after I added tarter sauce to spruce it up. The French dip beef was tender but grisly. The pomegranate margarita was pretty tasty. Very tart.

Loved discovering this place. Haven't been entertained by live piano music during dinner out for a very long time. The food and drinks (and dessert) were great. As an added bonus, there's a small live theater right next door that has plays occasionally. I love the older atmosphere of the place. It's very casual yet classy.

The food is excellent but very high priced. Especially for the amount of food that you get. There was a crew of baseball fans consisting of men, that were all about their own group and no one else. It seemed as though they were catered to a bit more than I was, and I get it. I'm one person where they were 7-8; much more money to be made there. I felt a bit outcast so I ate as quickly as I could and got out of there but did leave a nice tip. It's such a neat place to drive by. It's a shame the atmosphere inside doesn't match. I doubt I'll be going back unless I meet up with my family as the price is just way out of my league and I did not feel terribly welcomed. I was inspired upon leaving by the beautiful outdoor vibe and created some art with a photograph I took.

Clam chowder was not good as the veggies and potatoes were still crunchy (late lunch service) and it made the soup hard to enjoy. I emptied the clams into the chowder and then took a bite to realize I was sending it back. I think they thought I ate the clams? I didn't, but they charged me for the soup minus five dollars - the soup was $16. A few minutes later I was enjoying their BLT only to pull a hair out of my mouth. They remade my BLT for me, but when I got the check I couldn't help but feel insulted. The soup went back because it was poorly prepared not because I'm running some kind of free clams confidence game. One star for atmosphere because of how cold it was.

The atmosphere was gorgeous and felt clean. The server we got was very nice, a little slow but nothing to be upset about. The drinks were strong and not very flavorful other then alcohol. The food was normal priced for dinner price… little high but doable because of atmosphere. They definitely need a friendly lunch option as far as price and food, cause it was basically dinner. I got a short rib which was amazing and my wife got garlic cream chicken which again was amazing! The problem was the sides were so disgusting which was kinda weird being that the main was so good and I mean 8 outta 10 good. The sides were so bad that I don’t think we could go back cause the price was kinda outta control for what you got. The Mac n Cheese had 0 flavor other then noodle and the mashed potatoes were very runny. Basically we paid with tip $100 for lunch that consisted of a chicken breast and runny mash and a short rib and small dish of flavorless Mac. This place comes up with a better costing lunch menu and can fix their sides issue I’d recommend it but the cost didn’t meet the standard of food we got.

My first time here due to meeting a work colleague for lunch. He picked this place on a whim. What a find! Whenever I see a French dip on the menu, I have to try it. Let me tell you, I have had a lot of French dips all over the country. This was the very best French dip I have ever had. The French onion soup and fries are top notch as well! I can’t wait to get back and try some other options!

Fries were old and re-heated. That’s cost control gone wrong. Fish part of the fish and chips was good, not great. Best part of this was our waiter and the beer. If you go, don’t expect anything from the kitchen…. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day with this place!

Classless Karen at McCoole’s Red Lion Inn. Came in for a quick quiet meal at the bar with my husband. Great meal, awful atmosphere. Our bartender Eileen was awesome but unfortunately we sat at the wrong end of the bar which happened to be close enough to a 3 top where we could hear every word being spewed by an angry old woman..who we later came to find out was the owner! Every other word was an F bomb where she explicitly expressed her disdain for her workers. (Tip-lots of other upper end restaurants are hiring!) Unacceptable on so many levels! Will not be back. Classy place with a classless Karen owner!

First time here with a friend about a week ago who highly recommends this place. You order your food at the window and wait till your order gets called to pick up. Decor is nothing special and the presentation of food is nothing to write home about,

My niece had baby shower there. The place is awesome. It's got an awesome "vintage" atmosphere. Plenty of room for small events with catering space. Nice parking lot. Everything very clean.
