Absolutely amazing! The beautiful petroglyphs are unmatched anywhere! I'm from a couple hours away and only learned of this place as a recommendation from a campground operator. Go! It's easy to get to and worthwhile. Don't speed, go 35.
We saw a few reviews for the petroglyphs and wanted to take the hike. Once we parked in the new free parking area, we were confused on where to start the hike. There are signs along the road that lead towards the three Kings Trail, but also signs that say private property, no trespassing. we met a nice lady on one of the properties who directed us to the proper trail. The trails disseminate from the parking area. The lower trail is in the parking area and the upper trail is across the road. The lower trail is mostly flat and very narrow trail with shrubbery brushing against your leg. Suggest to wear long pants if desired. There are also a ton of red ants on the trail so don’t stop and look too long as they will be crawling up your legs. we saw very few petroglyphs, but we saw a lot of beautiful nature on the way. Easy hike to the three kings and then you turn around and go back. If we had better shoes, we would’ve taken the upper course as some of the reviews say it’s pretty steep.
So awesome to see these petroglyphs! Must do if you're in the area. Can't believe this is private land, so great that the owners opened it to the public. The trail up is slippery and a bit steep, so wear good hiking shoes and be careful!
We had a great hike out to the three kings with our 5 and 7 year olds. Pretty flat hike through an area with a pond and cattle. You can't get very close to the three kings, but there's plenty of other petroglyphs along the way to see. No shade and you may want bug spray. Plenty of parking, porta potties, and a small shed that shows a map of the hikes, shares history, and asks for the $5 donation (cash or Venmo).
This a truly amazing experience. The glyphs are close and so detailed and crisp, but I was just impressed with the hikes through the pastures and the view of the valley from above. This is quiet and peaceful place.
The petroglyphs are nice but the walkways up the cliff didn’t seem very structured and I wish there were signs for the carvings. Definitely be aware that it’s a steep hike to see them.
Wonderful little hike to some amazing petroglyphs. Clearly marked and a site worth the trip. Bring binoculars if you do 3 Kings Trail. The main panel is up close and personal.
The McConkie Ranch Petroglyphs are on private property. There is a small parking fee of a 5 donation, very reasonable for accessing amazing petroglyphs. The trail was short and easy to follow. I had an absolute blast visiting this site.

Incredible rock formations. Feels like a whole different world. The easy path mentioned in other posts is no longer easy. I would say rocks have rolled and covered parts of the easy path. There are worn paths to take still. And the dirt road, t

This is a very nice little small nature park outside Vernal UT. We saw a deer, chipmunk, and the beautiful fall leaves. We are younger family with an infant and it was perfect for him and our 2 year old daughter. We even used our stroller because the
