McAlister's Deli - Sandwich shop in Jefferson City - 2323 Missouri Blvd, USA

First time to get literally inedible food. Veggie Spud had obviously been sitting, already made, for a LONG time. Skin was burnt and hard as a rock. The only vegetable that was identifiable was broccoli. Rest of the veggies were the slimy skin part only. Majority of what cheese sauce that was on it, was the bottom of the pan burnt chewy brown stuff you'd throw out. Pics of burnt cheese, veggie slime, and potato skin that literally separated from itself. I did takeout and should have known something was wrong when I got 2 potatoes, the other was equally disgusting, and soup in 10-12 minutes. Didn't check order because #1-always previously had great food when dining in, and #2 I live out of town. $29 with tip wasted..

Ordered choose 2 and reg salad. They delivered 1/2 cup soup, 1 cup of soup, and the salad and tea.. No sandwich.. They turned a $6.00 item into a $60.00 a week loss.. i have lunch there 2-3 times a week..I called twice and tried to get a sandwich.. but no dice.. it was my problem.. I had ordered wrong, that may well have been.. but getting a customer to return after shabby treatment is now their problem..

I thought the food here was quite good but I was blown away by the customer service. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a friendly cashier than Jacob. He made it a delight to eat there. You guys are lucky I’m not hiring anyone cause I’d steal him away.

Got a really drippy Reuben and some… I can’t call it Mac and Cheese… more like Cheese Puddle and some Mac.

We always enjoy their delicious ham & cheese melt!

When eating in, food is always out hot, fast, and correct. We ordered it take out frequently, and our orders are always missing pickles. (I love their pickles) Staff are always friendly.

Grear menu IF THEY GET IT RIGHT. I choose delivery most of the time and try to cut them some slack. I order several meals at once to eat throughout the week. Last night ordered 3. 2 needed help. Asian salad is normally very good. Only problem is they left out the chicken breast! Chicken Harvest Salad is good. The sandwich barely had enough to cover the croissant. The extra chicken salad in a cup may have been 2 tablespoons for $3. Not worth it, IMO. The last 3 delivery orders have been messed up in various ways. I didn't call on the first 2. I called and nothing was offered to make up for the lousy food service. That's not why I called but on a $62 order (incl tip & fees), you'd think they'd want the business back. NOPE. Good enough. Won't be back. Sad but tired of lack of quality control.
