McAlister's Deli - Sandwich shop in Republic - 586 E Harrison St, USA

Pretty good place for lunch , special , $10 for a voice of 2, half a sandwich, cup of soup, half salad, or half s spud. Service was a tad slow (we were the only two customers but they were getting phone orders) but friendly. Good place for s bite, good selection and the food was pretty tasty.

My partner and I went to eat lunch there today. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and potato soup. The salad was the worst salad I’d ever seen. First off there was no chicken, only a speck of dressing, not even the right lettuce and maybe 5 croutons. Soup was just okay. Both of our sodas were flat. Their food was good but mine was a flop. Last time they only gave 2 chips for chicken tortilla soup. Used to eat there all the time but lately it gets worse and worse every time.

I ordered 2 roast beef dips with chips and only received 1 bag of chips instead of 2. Just now picked it up and took it to my husband's work. This is the 2nd time it has happened. It's not rocket science to make sure orders are correct especially online and call ins when people only have a limited amount of time for lunch. Not happy. Also was supposed to get 2 free pickles and did not get those either. Too bad cause food is good but service sucks.

When I think of McAlisters, my first thought is their sweet tea! I can't get enough of it! One sip, and you'll thank me! Their food is good, too! Maybe a little pricier than other places, but good! And, their tea is free refills. So, top it off before you hit the road!

I’ve been sick so I’ve eaten here the last three days and every single time they forget my pickle today I actually put in my last name as don’t forget my pickle and guess what they forgot? Of course it’s not worth turning around and going back for just super lame. They can’t actually do something so so simple.

Cassandra on the front is so kind and sweet! I come in almost daily for a sweet tea and she always makes my day!

The first thing noticed was the front appeared disorganized. Next when I order a 11.99 sandwich and the man told me 17.99 plus tax. When I corrected him he stated he thought I'd want all the sides, all without asking. He appeared put off and it took 17 minutes to get my sandwich to go and several people who came in after me we served. The two working the orders also rude to back house group I will say good food, poor management. I wonder how many would have said nothing in my place. Is this how he bumps sales. Almost a bait and switch.

Carol, the manager, is always kind and the staff is helpful. Carol tries to keep the restaurant clean and running smoothly. The food is what you would expect from McAlister's. Selection of sandwiches, salads, and spuds.
