McAlister's Deli - Sandwich shop in Southaven - 975 Goodman Rd E Suite 2, USA

I placed a mobile order on a busy Sunday lunch rush and it was ready on time! Imagine that. I ordered two different salads and they were both DELICIOUS!! He got the southwest chicken salad and I got the Savannah chopped salad which was distinctly unique for sure. The gargonzola cheese was almost too much but it rode the line of wow did that punch my taste buds. The dressing was sweet and savory with the most delicate onion flavor that was so pleasant and paired perfectly with the dried cranberries and honey roasted almonds. The container was a good size and filled, and they did NOT skimp on the toppings. It was loaded. I highly recommend the salads at this location. However, I will say you dropped the ball on my avocado I added. Quality control missed what little bit ended up on my plate. You know better than to serve that monstrosity and I quickly just scraped it off my plate into the garbage can, no harm done, but come on y’all. You can do better than that if you’re fixing salads that were almost perfect.

I’m typically a fan of McAlister’s but this location left some things to be desired. My party of 2 stopped here for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered and received our food fairly quickly. I was disappointed in the sweet tea. It was very bland and didn’t taste like the sweet tea that I had grown to love years ago. My club sandwich was dry and there wasn’t much meat on it. The other guest had a turkey sandwich and the same complaint, not enough meat. These were both sandwiches that we’ve had at other McAlister’s locations, so we were expecting similar quality.

Went in at 11 on a Thursday - no line at all. The cashier was very friendly and the gentleman who brought my food was pleasant. He checked on me and bussed my table twice while I was there. I had the Southwest Chicken & Avocado salad with chili lime dressing, which was delicious and plentiful. My food came quickly, restaurant was clean. Great job McAlister's!

I came here a few weeks ago on my lunch break and the bread on my club was burnt. I came back to give them a 2nd chance today and mentioned this to the manager. She didn’t even say sorry so there you go. $10 is a lot to pay for some burnt bread. I will not be back. Leigh Ann

I wanted to eat here with my friends today before our class schedule changed. I walked in yesterday to look at the menu and see the restaurant and thought I would try the veggie sandwich they offered. We walked there for lunch today and the 4 of us all had different items. My veggie sandwich with a side and tea was $11.31, I believe the other 2 spent more. Carmen just got broccoli cheddar soup with bread then chocolate cheesecake. I enjoyed my sandwich, though I did not like the fact all I got were some veggies and there were not much veggies and mostly the 9 grain bread. I liked the bread and all, but I wanted the vegetables more. I'm not sure I would eat there again for me being a non meat eater. I think the others liked their food okie dokie. The presentation was nice the staff was kind and the restaurant was clean.

My sandwich was made exactly like I ordered it and the staff was very courteous.

My family and I visited McAlister's and we all loved it. Every time I've gone the quality is always wonderful and the staff is always friendly. I love the spuds because they're so huge and delicious! It was my family's first time coming to McAlister's so they were pretty impressed by the size of it.

The past 3 times I have ordered the sweet smoky chicken on Uber Eats. EACH time I have had an issue the first was I received the WRONG sandwich entirely. The next two it came without sauce. If the sauce is unavailable it needs to NOT be an option on the application. Unbelievable. Never eating here again.
