Mayo Inn - Motel in Roswell - 1716 W 2nd St, USA

This place is gross. What’s the point of me paying a non refund pet fee if previous peoples pets tore up the bed cover and you can’t even replace it. Sketchy here was on the phone with someone after keeping my id behind the counter broken window and bugs broken glass and trash left behind the microwave. Also if you do go here the tub is so slippery you’ll fall just from turning so please be careful.just gross for 80 dollars I’ll try posting pictures I took

We are from Houston Texas and traveling and this hotel is the nicest and coziest. It’s nothing fancy but honestly why do you need that. The homey feeling hits the spot perfectly. If you come through Roswell stop by and stay with them. Also the property is very quiet and calm. Oh and a good price as well

Total ripoff especially during the fires in ruidoso I went to to donate my humble means and ended up paying for the room even though I cancelled within the timeframe No manager or owner were not taking any calls So I told the clerk give the room to someone who needs it during this horrible time for those who were sleeping on cots THEIR ANSWER, NO, again management and owner would not refuse to talk and hide from a very very disappointed individual who just wanted to help out I do plan on sending my experience to nm da which admirably is going after these rural towns for price gouging Shame on all of you who participated in this black eye on nm’s all who volunteered time and money

If the Motel wasn't so cheap I would not have stayed Did not come across any bed bugs but I did come across quite a few roaches in room 3 the microwave is infested, I had to see at least 20 roaches within the time I stayed, the box spring also had yellow sheets and one of the pillows was also yellow. Even though they have a sign that says no pets the housekeeping is allowed to have three noisy dogs that also live there, the check-in check-out time is confusing especially when you are told one thing but shown something else. On top of that my stuff was locked in my room and my key would not work before I left on my last day that should not happen, the total stay for one night is $53 so for the price I guess I got what I paid for

Probably the nastiest place I've ever stayed. At least there were no bedbugs. Could see daylight under the door; decor was low-bottom thrift store. Don't know what I expected for $45 a night plus tax ($53). Was awakened just after 3 am by loud voices outside, clearly from parties who had closed down the bar. Total disregard for other guests. I left this morning at 7:15, so anxious was I to leave this dump. An overall disquieting experience. Never again.

This was the worst most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at by far!!! This place was over priced and is the dirtiest hotel in town! They had bed bugs and charged me a pet fee when the room it’s self has never really ever been cleaned !! No kidding! The floors were disgusting the toilet had pee and who knows what the bathroom was plain disease ridden! I told the front desk of the bed bugs and was told too bad my problem and told to leave!!! Well unless you want to be ripped off for 75 to 110 a night and get a disease and bugs this is the place or any other hotel in town beats this place .

Positive: The location was perfect and the room although not a 5 star hotel it was very comfortable and clean. Negative: Parking was a little tight but it was quiet
