I wanted to try this restaurant because I had never had Persian food. The menu choices seemed a lot like you'd see on a Mediterranean menu. I ordered the Chelo Morgh which was braised chicken cooked in an onion, tomato and turmeric broth, served with rice. The chicken was super tender, easily falling apart with the fork. I wanted to love the flavor, but it fell short for me. I think I might have enjoyed the dish more of it included vegetables. The atmosphere seemed a bit cold. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. I'm glad I tried it, but I guess Persian is not my thing.
We wanted to try this Persian restaurant because we haven't had Persian for a while now. We wished there were extra butter for the rice. Overall, it tasted almost the same as in Orange County, but the ice cream combo is a must-have dessert.
Came on a Friday night for dinner and tried the Maydoon bowl with chicken and an eggplant appetizer, Kashkeh Bodemjan.
Chicken was so tender and moist! However, I found the dressing too tart and overpowering that I couldn’t enjoy the rice mixture with cucumber, tomato, onions and pickled onions. The eggplant dish was on the tart side as well. Standard service. I will be back to try their other dishes.
The food was delicious but a bit salty and service was not good they gave us first wrong bill with dinner prices and again at home I figured out they put 2 skews of koobideh instead of 1.
Atmosphere was not great, restaurant was extremely noisy(too much resound).
Food was good, bar was great, appetizers were ok.
Service was great, lamb shank was amazing, chicken kabob was good, rack of lamb was good, chicken shish kabob was good. Appitizers are not that great. Falafel bites tastes good but only 80 percent cooked inside(outside was cooked properly, maybe thy have cooked in very hot oil), i love hummus but its ok here(I think this is little older).
Overall experience was ok but not that great. I was super excited looking at the reviews before visiting this place but came out 60% satisfied.
A part of the menu here is very well done especially the kubideh and maydoon bowl. Ingredients used are quite fresh and you can easily tell. Drinks are over rated and expensive and our $12 cocktails were served with less than 100ml in the glass which I felt was quite a ripoff. The service was really poor as to order a running order of pita and yogurt dip we had to talk to 3 female wait staff but still they didn’t bring the order in next 30 mins. I wouldn’t come back. Overall only giving 1 star for how kubideh and maydoon bowl was prepared and plated but I don’t find value for money as we drove like 20 miles to be there, 30 minutes to drive there and another 30 mins to find parking they couldnt bring a basic running order in 30 mins. I suggest you close the dine in and be solo delivery and doordash business if you treat customers like this.
Food was really good with fair pricing!
Service could be better if they had more servers. I felt bad for our server running around to so many tables taking orders, bringing food, bills and bartending etc
One of the best Persian Restaurants I have been to. Their food is pretty good, but I think the design and the atmosphere of the place is even better! They have a great bar with interesting cocktail options. Their Koobideh Kabab is very good. I recommend their Mast-o khiyar as well. Their bread is so yummy, fresh, and soft. The only downside is their prices, which could be a lower. I hope they don’t raise their prices for a while!

This shop is under new management. Joe is a great guy. Iâm looking forward to watching his future success at his most recent venture here in Sacramento. As another recent Sacramento transplant, Iâm happy to find a new Scuba community here. I hope
Just attended a Barbell Medicine seminar this past weekend at this gym. This is Alan Thrallâs gym, who Iâve watched his fun/educational videos on YouTube for years. The place is beyond expectations. If I lived anywhere close to Sacramento, it wou
Joseph was very kind and took the time to explain what he would do with each stretch. I enjoyed him very much. He was quite polite and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I was a little too strong for him. He was not expecting me to be as strong . I would
