It's a little noisy considering how fast off the highway it is located, but it's not obnoxiously loud. The laundry room add clean and accessible but you don't get everything dry the first time. The staff is super friendly, the spots are spacious, but not every spot has a fire ring and no pucnic tables. That wasn't a deal breaker for us as we weren't there during the day. There is cable TV spaces and non cable spaces and we choose no TV. This trip was to unplug for us. The prices were perfect. Definitely would camp here again!
This is a beautiful little campground next to Mount airy North Carolina. We only spent one night as we were passing through. On our way to the new River Gorge national park. The campground is clean and very well-kept. I disagree with many other of the reviewers I heard no noise from the expressway in our camper overnight nor when we were sitting outside last evening. The staff was polite and professional. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was our site was not very level.
I stayed there for the Mayberry Days for the 1st. time. I was very happy and have already booked for 2024. Very nice size spots, everything was super clean. I would give it 10 stars if I could. So easy to get to, close to town.
My 1st time at this campground. Nice and big, some of the camp spots are tight depending on the size of your camper and vehicle. They offer fire pits and picnic tables but our spot was too tight for either. They have 2 ponds for catch and release, a store with camping supplies and a cute camper that sells funnel cakes, fried oreoes, etc., a LARGE dog park. Very nice!!!
Well kept campground. Nice sized lot and level. Big, fenced-in dog park. They have two laundry sites available. Close to the historic downtown. Will be putting this on our list for places to stay again.
Great Campground... Staff is fantastic. This place is well taken care of and friendly. Easy to get in and out of even for our 45ft coach with tow.||Fish, feed the ducks or just relax and enjoy the peaceful evening under the stars. Will always stay at this park...!
We loved staying here for 2 days while visiting Mt Airy. Very friendly staff. Very clean and quiet campground. Close to town. The private bathrooms were amazing. Will definitely stay here again if in the area!
Stayed here for just a night, but it was a really nice campground. It wasn’t too far off the highway & easy to access. No fenced dog area, which is something we usually appreciate, but plenty of grassy areas to take them to and walk them around in. The site was clean and it was quiet in the evenings

Best coffee around! The white caramel latte is so yummy. Coffee and lattes come in one size so it makes it easy to order. They serve gluten free donuts each day. The gentleman who works there is super knowledgeable and has a great attitude towards hi
My husband and I had a great weekend. The location is fantastic..easy walk to downtown in the morning to shop and in the evening for dinner. After dinner drinks at one of several nice bars and a short walk back to enjoy an evening porch sit. ||Stayed
This is a hidden gem. Nestled on a side street out of the hustle and bustle of Main Street in Mt Airy, NC. This is a great place to come and enjoy some great beer or wine. Couple that with some of the best pizza Iâve eaten in a long time. The beer
Great place to visit if you like an old fashioned place dripping with southern hospitality and itâs just a bonus that Andy Griffith grew up there and modeled it after Mayberry!! I thought everyone was so nice in this town! I wish the rest of Ameri
This is probably in the top two Mexican restaurants in Mt Airy. They have a limited menu but what they make is very good. We had quesadillas that were excellent. They also have a very well stocked bar and make very good drinks. The bar tender are ver

Wow, I can not believe I didn't write a review for this place. I ate here multiple times with family in June in North Carolina. I also don't understand why it has an overall 2 1/2 rating on yelp. When I first came here, we talked to a lady. I could b
Great wings and great service! We had the pretzels bites as an appetizer and then shared 15 garlic parm wings and fries. Visited twice during our visit to the area and would return if in the area again!
