I’m a fan. Lots of history here. This was also a filming location for the movie Bad Santa. The hotel IS haunted. But I don’t believe it is yet operational again. The Mayan is and it’s a really cool place. The staff is super friendly and engaging as well. Be sure to walk around and check out the pictures on the wall. Yes! They are from the 30s and 40s. Welcome to Old Route 66.
Came here for karaoke on Tuesday night. KJ only had YouTube to look up songs. There were only 8 people in the entire place but it took an hour to get a song in. Drinks were pretty pricy for being a dive bar. $8 for an Adios MF and a whopping $10 for a vodka and redbull. Asked for a well whiskey and coke and was charged $7.75 for a jack and coke. I also bought some $2 tacos. They were
just ok, basic but nothing special. This bar is really close to my house but I don't feel a need to come back due to the drinks being too expensive and the karaoke being just average.
I've waiting YEARS to get in the backyard here. The patio is OPEN now. Its super cozy, intimate lighting, great drinks and can host the perfect oases for just relaxing. 100% would recommend.
Monrovia's "Cheers" bar. Wonderful, friendly staff and customers. Really feels like home and family. I feel safe enough to go there alone to enjoy the music, dancing, outdoor patio, and pool table in the room adjacent to the patio. Something for everyone at any adult age. Willie makes a great burger and fish tacos, and Rich can mix a mean drink.
Excellent for band lover, i think is different bands every week, huge back yard patio, great vibe!
I love everything about it. The employees are great! Outside relaxes me and my friends. The d.j. is good on the weekends. Great place to chill out and forget about life 🤎
Located at Monrovia’s historical Aztec Hotel. Live music every weekend. Awesome staff
In Monrovia at the historic Aztec Hotel on Route 66, The Mayan Bar and Grill serves up spicy whole shrimp, crayfish, mussels, sausage with potatoes, corn and an assortment of fried appetizers, southern-style North American inspired dishes, burgers, sandwiches and pasta. Served with bibs and gloves because messy and delicious. Different spice levels available, including the milder lemon butter sauce. Good Happy Hour is 4-7 daily where many cocktails are just $4.50 and domestic beer is the right price--under $3. But ask for the Orange Crush. You won't be sorry. Tell JR and Eddie that Monique sent you.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's nice they carry some brands you don't find elsewhere. Been given a few samples when they're bringing in new brands and it's made me a regular customer.
So fun. We played Mario Kart battle while sipping delicious local craft brew. Itâs tucked away and a little hard to find, but super worth it. Brewer on site!! My fave was the hazy!!
In the middle of quiet downtown Monrovia, off the main drag Myrtle, is the unassuming Geneâs Grinders. Simple menu, reasonable prices (get the large) and most important for a deli, quality bread. Without good bread youâre animal cobbling togethe
When I tell you my family and I LOVED this place, that is an understatement. Food was 10, Service was 10, Atmosphere was 10. We did a mixture of dine in and take out. We ate the sandwiches while waiting for others because we had a large party. After
Edit: I went back and had a much better experience. Thank you David for helping me find the right fit and giving me helpful information.

The young lady who helped me (Genesis) went above and beyond. I was very happy with the choices she gave me. Living Spaces has always had high-quality merchandise. They have always been my first choice.

Its finally open after the bob cat fire. Monrovia Canyon Park requires reservations on weekends and not needed on weekdays. Keep in mind the Park is close on Tuesday and a $5 dollars fee is required to visit the park. Follow the park rules. Pack in a
