Maxwell's On Main (MOMs) - Gastropub in Doylestown - 37 N Main St, USA

I wanted to try a new place after visiting the castle nearby. I sat at the downstairs bar. I ordered a chai mule. It was good, but it tasted like a regular mule for $15. I had the beef and cheddar sandwich. The first few bites were thickly cut meat that was hard to bite, but it was sliced thinner in other parts of the sandwich. The horseradish mayo was good, but I requested more because the sandwich was a littke dry. The sweet potato fries looked overcooked, but they were actually perfect.

Pass. I was the first one at the upstairs bar tonight and was looked at like I interrupted something. Despite being the only one there the service was terrible. The bartender was rude, inattentive, and slow. Obviously it looked to him like I was not going to tip well so he basically disregarded me the whole night. Once the bar began to fill up the other patrons were given much better service, checked in with, offered drink and dinner menus. When I sat down i was basically thrown a menu, not given a napkin for my drink, and then disregarded. When it was time for me to get my check the same thing happened. I put my card down before an older couple but theirs was picked up before me. Such a warm welcome to Doylestown. 👎🏻

Early dinner for a group of us after visiting nearby museum. Good menu selections seemed slightly thin. Good beer list. One of our party did not get what they ordered, but was quickly resolved. I had the Cuban, pulled pork, but it was dry and tough. Not recommended. The rest of the party had no complaints. Pub setting with dark wood and a tin ceiling. Servers were all nice.

Amazing food. Oftentimes go here after a nice dinner out for some honest to good comfort food and THE BEST craft cocktails in Doylestown - hands down so much better than most neighboring restaurants. Their fried chicken and steak sandwich are out of this world - thigns I usually wouldn't order (I tend to order healthier options), but these are must trys!

Went for brunch, food was great. Some of the better fried pickles I’ve had. Collards are very good to be up north. Service was a tad slow given they weren’t packed and the place is very dim/loud but that’s kinda the theme.

Looking for something special on Monday night ? I get it, it's Monday, what's there to do??? The answer is simple. COME to M.O.Ms. Wing night will save your night!! I know it did mine :)

If You’re Looking For A Sunday Brunch With A Relaxed Vibe Then Maxwells On Main Is The Place You Wanna Be. Amazing Food, Drinks, Live Musicians, and Great Service. Staff Was Very Welcoming, Always Smiling And Attentive. I Really Didn’t Want To Leave!!

Really cool environment. I love a good old building that makes you feel like you’re in a LOTR pub. Short rib entree was delicious and cocktails were tasty. Very nice staff. Oh and the bananas foster dessert…to die for!
