Max's Roadhouse - American restaurant in Spring Branch - 5375 US-281, USA

We are in the area for the winter months. We really enjoy experiencing everything local - stores, pubs, restaurants...you get the picture. We have passed by Max's Roadhouse quite a few times and decided yesterday was the day to stop by and have an early dinner. Online reviews were mixed with good and not-so-good, but the shining reviews helped us choose. And we are so glad we ignored the negative ones! We were immediately greeted and seated ourselves on the bar side when we arrived early around 4:30pm. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a treat. Music was playing but it was at a decent level and had a good playlist. My husband had an IPA with a Roadhouse Cheeseburger with Fries and I ordered the Hill Country Margarita and the Beef Tacos (2 large ones.) The server was attentive, prompt to respond, and just a delight to meet. The drinks and food were delicious, too. In fact, we had so much food we took some of it with us when we left. Thank you, Max's Roadhouse, for a wonderful dinner experience!

my friends and i went for some appetizers at max’s and the customer service was really nice! our waiter was very polite and patient and our food was pretty good overall. the jalapeño poppers were the best and the chili fries + fried ravioli were well made 😌 they also have karaoke for some fun

The food was good. Had wings, cheese burgers, fries, chicken nachos, and chicken tacos. Everything was delicious. Drinks were on point.

This place is great! Thank you, Zoe, for the great service. The Lemon Pepper chicken wings were amazing. They had a crunch. The Chicken Quesadillas were excellent as well.

So much fun, went to see Rockcastle with my older brother and sister n law. My youngest brother is the bass player in the band, great wings, and funnel cake fries

We really enjoyed this place. We loved the atmosphere. Mostly locals having a drink after work and playing pool. The burgers n lots of french fries are delicious and I loved the jalapeńo poppers ! My hubby had pulled pork tacos totally delish. We will defensively return!

Great little bar. Had live country singers. It's a little out of the spring branch area, but not too far. The service was great. The girls tried their best, but we were a large group. Great space in the rooms with large TVs, great for watching the game. THIS ISN'T a hotel.

Best burger I’ve had in a very long time. The food was great. Only giving 4 stars because the second time I went it seemed like old or reheated fries were mixed in with a freshly made batch.
