Do not pass up the opportunity to stay at Max Resort. Everything was 5 star, and we had a wonderful family vacation with our adult kids. The staff was amazing from the minute we stepped on the property. The level of service and kindness we experienced is (unfortunately) hard to find these days! The condo-style rooms are gorgeous and spacious, and the amenities are top notch. The game lounge, observation decks, and fitness center were impeccably maintained and we enjoyed them very much. We rented a cabana for one of our beach days to celebrate a family birthday and it was a very special experience. It was so nice to have a comfortable, sand-free home base for the day. The young women at the Venn bar were so friendly and provided great service. Our rental included a beautifully arranged tray that included a wide variety of delicious fruits. Be sure to include a cabana rental in your vacation budget! You will not regret it. THANK YOU, Max staff for your service and dedication to your customers.☀️🏖️😊🙌

I disliked the food here and felt it was overpriced. Our bartender Peter was awesome, he served the best drinks and was really kind. I wish Max Beach Resort had 7 Peters in every department. Our rooms were beautiful and had a great view of the ocean. It was wonderful waking up to those sunrises every morning. I disliked how rude the receptionist Linda and one of the managers named Chelba treated us. Anytime we would ask them questions, they always seemed like we were bothering them. They didn’t make us feel welcomed at all . They need to find people who truly care about their customers. This is the reason we will not be returning to this establishment.

These condos are really nice! I absolutely love the technology incorporated into the rooms and amenities. They gave us wristbands to use to enter and exit our rooms, amenities, parking deck and access to the beach. The gym was good with a nice view and a deck overlooking the beach which I love.the lounge are have a few games for adults and younger kids with another deck overlooking the city side. I love the tech of the appliances in our room and the deck which you could access from either room in our condo. I also like the fact we don’t have to walk too far to access the beach water lol. The town wasn’t like a party area if you like to party on the strip it was not as exciting as I thought it would be but it was more on the chill side which was cool I’m not too mad about that. I would definitely stay here again if we were going to the area.

It was our first time staying here all together for a family vacation and we've all decided when we return to Daytona this will be the place to stay at. The rooms are sleek and clean, and spacious for all of us. The kitchen area even allowed us to cook a few nights into our trip. The lobby and elevators were always clean and easily accessible. The outside is very spacious with several tables both poolside and along the back walkways. The Venn Bar was also a great accessory to the hotel providing both delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner along with alcohol. Those prices were a little higher than I'd like, but for the price they'd bring it right over to you poolside or even send it up to your room. Both are extremely convenient. The ramp and stairs down to the beach were well kept and it made the beach experience that much better. Coming up from the beach a shower to rinse off was also available which made leaving the sand outside much easier. Along the other side there was a turf grass area where we even played corn hole. The 12th floor had 2 amazing views from the roof the overlooked the ocean and the city. Both were absolutely stunning. The game room and fitness center were also located up there Both also having amazing views. The parking lot looked deceiving with only a few spots to park, but a large spacious parking garage is located under the hotel with access to the street and main elevators there also. We have easily found our favorite place to stay when we take our annual beach trip.

Great resort hotel! The building is new and modern. Everything is very clean. Views are outstanding - I don't think there would be a room with a bad view. Balconies are huge and we really liked that you could open the entire unit up with the sliding glass doors. Rooms are perfect for larger families or multiple families. We had 5 people in a 2 bedroom and there was plenty of room to spread out. Bedrooms are enormous. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen including flatware, pots, pans and glassware. Full washer and dryer in the unit was handy too. The game room and open space on the rooftop are a really great feature. Bar and restaurant are very convenient and the food was actually fantastic - we ate there 3-4 times! Pool and recreation area is spacious and have plenty to do. There are cabanas available to rent. Pricier but probably worth it if you're spending the whole day outside. Parking is underneath the hotel in the garage and was included. We liked the room key wristbands because they were much easier to keep track of. I'm struggling to come up with any negatives for Max Beach Resort. The ceilings looked a little weird - they looked unfinished or maybe they're supposed to look "industrial". That's all I can think of. We would definitely recommend and we will stay here again next time we head to Daytona!

We vacation at Daytona Beach every summer. We have been to many different hotels, condos, resorts etc. This is hands down the best place we've stayed in. The rooms were huge and clean. It is right on the beach. It felt very safe. The only negative I can say is that the exposed cement ceilings and walls are a really weird aesthetic that don't match the rest of the decor. That's such a minor thing that it really doesn't affect anything.

Max Beach Resort is an amazing place to relax and enjoy life! My husband and I took our kids just to get away and what an incredible experience!! I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone. The staff, rooms and service were above my expectations so much so we stayed another night. Thank you to Shelby, Jamie, Linda and Caroline for making our visit one to remember. We’ll be back again.

It was fantastic! The room was equivalent to a mini apartment. We got ‘city view’ but the balcony was so large we could still see some of the ocean!! The main bedroom was spacious and the bathroom inside offered more than enough space with a jack&jill sink, water closet, and plenty of storage in the cabinets. The kids room and guest bathroom were spacious as well providing ample walking space. Outside the room the hotel offers modern accommodations and amenities that mimic an apartment community. Needless to say for a family of 5 the only downside… we aren’t going to be able to lower our standards of hotel stays back to the basic cramped rooms anymore. Definitely plan to be a reoccurring guest here.
