This is a really nice, clean, not-too-crowded playground. With workout area. Water stuff. Lots of benches. And basketball courts and handball courts on the other side. There is easy parking. And good bathrooms. A nice little nature walk over the pedestrian bridge overlooking the van wyck expressway l.
A beautiful place to visit with ur family. Very well maintained and organized and clean. People's are very friendly and.
Excellently done. It makes proper use of it's vast space with so much lovely activities scattered for the kids to discover. The long reconstruction time was worth the wait.
The playground itself is closed now because of the pandemic . However it is a nice playground with swings and other items typical of a park. There are also tennis courts and some exercise equipment. I look forward to it reopening.
The benches and (I believe but am not certain) the bathrooms are open. Its a nice place to rest when bike riding around Flushing Meadows Corona Park and this part of Queens.
The play ground is really nice, it has two different sections for different aged kids. A little toddler/baby section and a big slide and jungle gym for older children. There are even swings for both children. It has a very nice water splash zone for children, the kids can press the button and the water will gush out of the rocks and floor. The park also has these drums and percussions near the sprinkler, that was my 10 month old sons favorite part of the park. There are also a section for adults to work out and play racket ball away enough from the children. The play ground is also mostly shady and have plenty of places for parents to sit. There is a public bathroom and water fountain including a water bottle refill section but I wouldn't use those because of corona. The only negative is that there isnt enough garbage cans and the cans that is there fill up very fast.
Great playground. Kids love the equipment.
Clean playground, bathroom is open.
Great playground. It is clean and pretty new. The highway traffic makes some background noises.
Great local park, has spacious fields for soccer, dogs, hockey and currently a portion is under construction to build a football field.
Update 06/20/23: the football field is nearly complete. They have also created walkways so its not just grassy fi
This is a beautiful park. Not too crowded but youâll see people walking, jogging and exercising. Best for visiting in the morning or late evening. Only a couple of minutes away if you live near Kissena, Main Street. Parking is available and there i
