I took my family to a movie tonight, and it was such a disappointing visit. It started when it was SUPPOSED to be Wild Wednesday, and I was informed at the counter that they no longer do that. What a disappointment. That was such a great deal for a family of 5 that has to pay so much to see a movie otherwise. The Wild Wednesday made it an affordable and enjoyable outing for a family. Then we proceed into the movie and it is FREEZING in the theater! I was wearing gloves, and scarf the whole way through. BRRR! Finally, upon arriving and leaving, the parking lot lights were not lit. How about a little safety for your patrons?! As I said, I usually love going to this little theater, and tonight, I was just so sad about my visit. I hope that those in charge will take some time to pay attention to the little things that make a big difference to the patrons of the Maumee Indoor Theater.
First time there for an event. Nice and well maintained. Parking however was not good thanks to road construction
Came with my 3 daughters to watch Wonka the website said that a closed captioned version of the movie was playing at 5:00. Showed up and went to purchase tickets and was turned away because we weren't movie pass members.... Nothing on the website indicated that you would need to be a member of anything to purchase tickets.. Had to explain to my screaming autistic 5 year old why the movie people won't let us in. THANK YOU FOR THAT. Was a 40 minute drive for us . Went to Levi's Commons where they never turn you away. Will not return ever.If you aren't showing Wonka why does you're website say you have showtime this week ?
This is such a gem in Maumee. Staff is always kind and friendly. They have live shows and movies. Popcorn, snacks and drinks are affordable. They have different promotions through the week that make it even easier on the pockets. Just an overall wonderful place that I'm so happy is local
Went to see the production of the Rocky Horror picture show. Excellent play. It was so fun. The props were fun. Live interaction with the actors/actresses. A bit worried about covid since we were packed in like sardines. Wish they had more drink selection for the pre reception but it was ok. I loved everyones costumes. Definitely coming back
The inside of the venue is nice. However the parking is already limited. For today's show, the city put up no parking signs on the street for just Sunday 11/27. Why? There is a show going on and every street over here has signs up saying you can't park or you will be towed.... Who wants to deal with a tow on a Sunday? We arrived late trying to find a parking spot. The venue parking is not welcoming in an already congested area. Who wants to walk a mile with children. Please do better for future shows.
Great place for our grandkids Christmas program!
First time visit for a new Maumee resident and it was super disappointing. Movie was in the main auditorium and it was COLD! No heat and had to wear my winter jacket the entire time. Spent money on old popcorn and flat soda with no ice. There was also a noticeable slit on the screen which was a distraction from the film. We won’t be back.
