Maumee Bay State Park - State park in Oregon - 1400 State Park Rd, USA

Awesome place! Came here with a friend who works at one of the other lodges. We had a four bedroom cabin with a hot tub. We did go check out the lodge and used the hot tub there as well as taking pictures around the place. Everything was wonderful.

I will be back here. I loved the campsites! They were all private with full grown trees and shrubs around each site. It was clean and had lots to do at the park. We took a bike ride on the shore of Lake Erie and around the Lodge area. It was beautiful even though Lake Erie had algae in it. There were two other inland lakes with beaches that were clean and suitable for swimming. The nature center was very nice and the employee very friendly and informative.

We absolutely loved our visit at the Maumee Bay State Park. There is something here for everyone. With over 1336 Acres of land the park offers everything from the Trautman Nature Center and boardwalk miles of hiking and biking trails and the "Big Hill". Two separate Golf Courses including a Scottish Links style course, tennis and pickle ball courts, playgrounds, story book trail, picnic shelters and an archery range. Two separate beaches including the beach on the bay and an inland lake and the bay side beach with restroom and shower facilities, several inland lakes offering kayaking fishing and great birding opportunities and a large outdoor amphitheater. The park also offers a variety of places to stay including a beautiful Lakeside Lodge with a marina, pool, restaurant, lounge and gift shop, cabins and an wonderfully laid out campgrounds with nice large, private, level paved sites offering electrical hookups, picnic tables and fire ring. The campground store, office and gift shop was well kept offering a little of everything that you might need from firewood to ice. The park grounds were very clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Located just minutes East of Toledo, Ohio the Maumee Bay State Park offers year round fun and is one of the nicest State Parks we have visited. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return.

Love this state park campground. Large sites with lots of foliage in between sites for privacy. Efficient dump station (hoses provided). Located within the state park is a lodge with a restaurant and bar. It is a close bike ride or somewhat longer walk, but easy walk. Bike/walking trails around the park let you enjoy nature. We had a number of deer at night walk through close to our site. Also saw deer (mom and fawn) on our bike rides. During the summer the campground has coffee and donuts (small fee), as well as the lodge holds fun events (tie die t-shirts). Not too far from the state park is a wetland that has nesting Eagles. Great bird watching - put out oranges at your site (in the trees) and watch the Orioles!

Beautiful, private sites. This was a large well kept park that has trees/growth between most sites which makes each site feel isolated. There are lots of activities to do in the park which is right on Lake Erie.

Beautiful park. The campground sites are nice, large and private by being surrounded with trees and fields. Bike trails and walking trails are impeccably maintained. Restrooms and park is kept very clean. Having two lakes in the campground to walk to for fishing was a nice bonus. Very quiet and peaceful campground.

Beautiful place to visit! Relaxed on the swing and felt the breeze! Would definitely go back! Lake Erie was very vile this September already but so beautiful!

Beautiful park with nice sites and clean facilities. Located on Lake Erie. Great place for bike riding. Very flat. The only drawback was its proximity to petroleum plants 15 miles away. We had no odors.
