We had an amazing time staying at Maui Sunset in unit B102! The condo was in excellent condition and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The unit was super clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that made meal prep a breeze.
They provided beach chairs, toys, and even surfboards, which was a fantastic touch.
The property itself is wonderful, with a beautiful pool, green field, tennis course, gym, and spa. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the beach—perfect for enjoying the sunset. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would highly recommend staying here!
Beautiful location practically on the beach, there’s a huge open lawn with a gorgeous view (especially during sunset). The rooms are clean and organized and stocked with basic appliances. Nice pool and hot tub, everything is easily accessible. Perfect for family vacation
Le lieu ne paye pas de mine au départ quand on arrive sur le parking. Toutefois quand on arrive au niveau des logements c’est plutôt une bonne surprise. Le lieu est accueillant pour une famille de quatre personnes avec une chambre avec 2 toilettes ainsi qu’un lit dans le salon, une cuisine aménagée. Le balcon offre une vue splendide sur la mer et son coucher de soleil. En été il y a beaucoup de vent. la plage est toute petite mais permet de profiter tout de même d’un petit bain privé . Il y a beaucoup de ustensiles dans la cuisine ainsi que un barbecue dans l’immense jardin extrêmement entretenu. la piscine et le jacuzzi fond de ce lieu, un endroit paisible pour se détendre pendant quelques jours au balcon et se promener pour découvrir cette île magnifique
We really loved staying at maui sunset! Our room contained everything that we were promised and much more! Beach stuff: chairs, boards, reef shoes, goggles, etc. The kitchen was also really well equipped! Security Joe was also a highlight of our stay! He gave us a very accurate and useful advice!
Maui Sunset has some great features but they are in the verge of going downhill if they don’t invest in upgrades. ||Positives: Great views. Two bedroom units are roomie. Maintenance staff works hard (watched the pool crew every morning do a thorough job). Also, had a refrigerator issue on day one. The maintenance guy was prompt and very nice. Beachside lawn area is great for families. Pool towels, beach chairs, etc are all in the rooms. Free use of shuffle board, tennis gear, ice chest, etc. Free parking. All rooms have nice ceiling fans and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes. ||Negatives: Not a friendly check in experience. Woman never even smiled or looked me in the eye. I felt I was a bother for checking in. Street side/exterior looks rundown. When we drove up, we were concerned this was “a dump” (glad we were wrong). NO LUGGAGE CARTS. The lady that checked us in said there were grocery carts scattered around but we hunted and never found them till day 8 - we saw one and it literally is a grocery store cart. No way luggage would fit. It would have helped on day one when we arrived with bags of groceries but that’s it. Why no luggage carts??? Finally, because this complex dates back to the mid-70’s, the rooms have window air conditioners. That’s no biggee BUT they are nasty looking and NOISY. They need to upgrade to quiet, energy efficient units. Also, broken and filthy windows and screens. Ugh. ||A usable beach is a drive. The beach in front of the complex is rocky and small. You will not want to play/ layout here. ||Overall, we got a great price on the Maui Sunset but even at this price, I don’t think we will return.
Booked this place for a two week Maui Trip, the location was good, walking distance to the beach, access to amenities. The actual inside of the place was very outdated. I would recommend this place for a family only IF you will be gone all day and only use the place minimumly. We stayed on the first floor which was nice to be able to walk to the beach at a whims notice but the view was obstructed by the pool.
The only real complaint I had was that one of the showers was out of commission, and it was a little hard for the family to share just one shower.
But Overall, good location, meets basic needs and economic.
115b! Don’t stay here unless you like mold. Shower has missing tiles (seems it’s been an issue for sometime now) and Vtrips doesn’t seem to care.
The location is amazing so I think they are seeing how far they can go with it.
I recommend Maui Sunset, just not 115B or 114b for that matter. Bet there is mold there too.
Right in the middle of Kehei, convenient to everything. Beautiful views of ocean and pool, lots of grassy area, and very comfy condo. Beautiful sunsets. Pool is large and a good temperature. Very impressed, would stay again.

Location is great! Expensive but the buyer determines value. Our condo had a wonderful view, a nice lanai and a short walk to a beautiful beach. Pool is nice too. It checked all my boxes for a great time in Maui.
A beautiful place at the south end of Kihei, in Maui. Easy to access, close to the beach. Sidewalks to walk all the way into Kihei if you choose. Close to restaurants, ocean views, turn left out of the entrance, and you are on the road going strai
The BEST meals Iâve had in Maui are at Earth Aloha Eats. Amazing plant based options for vegans and non-vegans. Recommend the chickân burger and the pulled pork fries. Gyro is also tasty (but so packed you might not get to actually wrap it). Come
