Maui Bus Stop - Hawaiian restaurant in Fort Walton Beach - 101 Perry Ave SE, USA

This was a fun find! We had the best luck with recommendations from the locals. This place was so delicious and one of the least expensive meals we've had in the FWB area. The chicken and steak were perfect, and I think i could eat the rice until i explode. Pork was full of flavor as well. Hubby said, "I'm so full. I couldn't stop eating! I'm glad I ran out." Can't wait to go back next trip!

Service and Atmosphere was good. Pretty cool how they converted it from a bus stop. Food: Loco Moco: Hamburger and Gravy was pretty good. Teri Beef and Shoyu chicken was subpar. Meet was cooked with the sauce poured over it. This is the third Hawaiian spot that seems to think they can save time and money this way and unfortunately most people that eat there leave there satisfied but actually miss how the food is actually prepared in Hawaii. Mac Salad was too sweet. Mayo to pasta ratio was great. Just ease back on the sweet or tang. This is a great attempt based on its location but you can easily do better if you paid attention to how things were prepared in Hawaii even if it takes more time and possibly more money.

We tried The Bus Stop yesterday for the first time. I have to say it was pretty amazing. We ordered all the meats. The pork was not appealing in color, but the flavor was absolutely delicious! The beef was super tender, and the chicken was the best in flavor and tenderness. We were served 3 scoops of rice with teriyaki sauce and 2 servings of the macaroni salad. I make Hawaiian macaroni salad at home and think mine is better in flavors and texture. However, MBS Mac was good. The cans of beer were very tasty and cold. My daughter ordered a Hawaiian juice and loved it. The prices were extremely reasonable for the portion sizes. The bathroom was clean, the tables were clean, and the outside seating was very clean and spacious. We live in Navarre, but it's worth the drive. We will be back!!!

Big portions Cooked just right -steak tender,pork tasty & chicken good. Rice&sweet sauce - macaroni salad..... Enjoyed our time there ...... And liked the thank you, Hand written on box...

Exceptional food offsets the the small menu selection. EVERYTHING here is EXCEPTIONAL. I am a huge fan of the pork, but the steak and chicken are both wonderful. Affordable, clean, friendly local eatry. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Ordered from doordash and OMG the food was amazing! By far the best food I've had at my stay in Destin. They gave so much meat, chicken, steak, beef patty was so delicious. This sides were great too. Gonna miss this place.

Absolutely delicious and worth the hour plus drive. Brought back some good memories. The meats were so tender and juicy, and the macaroni salad was a perfect compliment to the shoyu chicken and kalua pig. Of course we washed it all down with a couple cans of Hawaiian Sun. Plenty of seating outdoors if there is no seating inside. Will be back for sure!

Wow! The food was astounding. Haven’t had good Hawaiian food like this in over a year. I ate the Kailua pig and teriyaki beef and both were great. The macaroni salad was a great level of sweetness that I prefer. The white rice was cooked to perfection. Restroom was clean and well maintained. Employees were very friendly and professional.
