On a wintery day my husband and I sat at a windowed table with a beautiful view of the Hudson River which had been reserved for us. We watched the trains arrive and depart as we relaxed. We ordered drinks, and later were served satisfying hot chicken vegetable soup, then an ample hamburger platter, along with a tavern house salad. Staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. We recommend Maud's if you seek good food, excellent service, and a relaxed homey vibe.
We had a Lovely dinner. Our hostess was nice and ensured we had everything we wanted, including extra silverware. The owner knew people that we knew and was a good conversationalist. The portions were bog and delicious.
First time at this spot, I absolutely loved it and enjoyed my time being there felt like home. I’m from the city and being there was so peaceful. This place is great and the Cod fish (fish and chips) was delicious. Everyone that works there was so friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. We will definitely go there again when in the area.
Just stopped in for drinks, and service was amazing! Beautiful bar and restaurant, and Maud herself answered our questions about the town since we were not local. Will definitely be back for food!
My husband and I tried Maud’s for the first time this evening and were seriously impressed. From the incredibly attentive wait staff, the delicious food, the views of the water…what more could you want?! Highly recommend the Shepherds Pie, Philly Cheesesteak and the Belgian Mousse cake for dessert! Such a charming and wonderful experience :) thank you Maud!
