Some might disagree but to me it’s the decor and feel that I love. Simple great fast good American fare. One of those hidden gems that you stumble upon. Googled food near me while driving on I-77 and Marty’s came up I am glad I stopped in. Great portions at a good price. Please support this great place.

A small diner that will not disappoint. Maybe the best fried catfish I’ve ever had. The homemade slaw is great and the staff is as well. I will eat here many times while working in the Elkin area!
Simple country restaurant. Food is ALWAYS good, and so is service. Building is awesome. Like going back to a simpler time. Prices are very reasonable. You will not leave hungry.
Finally got to stop in the Diner a few weeks ago and was very impressed by the staff and the Plate I ordered. It was some of the best Flounder I've had in awhile. The Hushpuppies are great too. Onion Rings, Fries... Yummy. Toilets are located outside and they are less than desirable though. It's an old school building.

Wow! Matty’s is great. Huge portions and they have the same price point as other local restaurants. Lots of parking to the rear of the restaurant, offers dine in and takeout. I’m happy we called our order in because there weren’t any tables left during lunch rush. We will definitely go back.

Love stopping here when traveling up 77 back to Virginia. Just a couple miles off highway and a great setting if you are a sports fan as I am. Pizza is always awesome and they have a wide variety of very good beers too.
