Beautiful views. I suffer from neuropathy and a messed up back, if you have these issues I would recommend you go early in the morning and take your time the views are worth the pain, it took me about 2 hours on the stairs alone not including the walking around when you get to the bottom. Like I said worth it take your time you will love the views.
Beautiful beyond words! I cannot wait for spring/summer to come hiking. I love that they have the easy and hard way to do these trails. So much fun and so peaceful and beautiful. Wow. Waterfalls are amazing 😍
We took the kids on a hike. There are a few rough points and lots of stairs, but we got through a lot of the trail with little issue. The higher trails were easier and mostly dry. The bottom along the water had a few difficult spots. It was full of beautiful views, great for pictures.
We went there last week. The parking area had great fall colors. I was a little bit disappointed as we didn’t see different colors when we were walking towards strawberry rock. But when we went towards the lake, it was great. Great scenic view with colorful trees. Quick tip: if you are there for fall color go towards upper deli.
If you like to hike and have a lot to look at, this is the park for you. Beautiful! Come during the week and you have peace and solitude.
Lots of fun, but the creek was super low so the waterfalls were not as spectacular as usual
Park is very nice but they need to clean it a little more by the trails ... Not a lot of people hiking in this national park. We saw a lot of big spiders so be careful. There is no visitor center ... Restrooms were very clean.
My family and I loved walking and hiking here. We normally go to starved Rock and we're interested in something different. Great views nice paths little less crowded. It's a good day trip and very enjoyable for the young ones. You can see most of this park in one day.
This is one of those town favorites, great pizza, Sam's hard working one man show. And everyone keeps coming back for a reason. If they phone isn't going through, just order in person Sam sometimes gets too busy to attend calls.
Fun hike. Not too far from visitor center. Very scenic route to this location and the canyon doesnt disappoint. Expect stairs along the way. Canyon is pretty but usually no water in dry season.
The chicken parm is unbelievable! Huge serving that covers the whole plate. Chicken cooked perfectly, can get breaded or grilled. Great homemade dressings too! Can't go wrong with fried chicken either. Love the mozzarella sticks too. Tony and the cr
Great place for a gathering. Playground equipment for kids, spot to start a fire (we had corn on the cob cooked on it) and you can reserve it with the town.
