Place is cute inside. Smaller winery than others in woodinville. I’d say most wines we tried were of quality and had great flavor. Service was lacking and reason for my 2 stars. Somewhat left unattended.

Great wine, the clarets are beautiful. Unfortunately had a similar experience as other reviews with service. We were ignored and waited close to an hour for our first wine taster. The staff didn’t even explain which wine was which on the table. Ordered 2 bottles before leaving and had to repeatedly ask for the wine. Staff clearly forgot but were rude and dismissive towards us. Get staff that actually want to be there!

Cuvées, clarets, & cabs oh my! 2019 was a great vintage hose Cabernet Sauvignons are worthy of aging a few more years. Their cuvées are delicious & ready to drink now. Their clarets are quite tasty & enjoyable. Their merlot is spectacular. Their Jaime Blanc de Blanc was exceedingly dry & bordered on brettanomyces & pomelo pith mouthfeel. Great Jaime Rosé.

This place is really cute and I wanted to like it but the service was terrible. When we first walked in the server didn’t even ask about what we liked at all and offered the cheapest bottle of wine. When I said I wanted some thing better he condescendingly said, “this bottle is $15 more.” I wanted to purchase another bottle but they were about to close so they wouldn't sell me one, which is fine. But instead of giving me a recommendation to a bar or a restaurant close by they told me my best bet was to go to the supermarket. I’m sorry but at your old age behind the bar you should be the last person to pass judgment on to anyone. I don’t know if it’s because we were a group of POC and/or because we were young, but sir we definitely aren’t broke. We went to Vons and had a much better experience there.

My absolute favorite winery in the world, and the staff is warm and friendly. The wine is definitely worth every penny, and really neat environment out in Woodinville Washington. The location is a little past some of the other wineries (if you are coming from the south on Woodinville Redmond road), so make sure to keep going until you see Matthews on the right hand side.

What a lovely winery! We had a great time and a fantastic wine sommelier. They arranged for us to sit by the fireplace and on the couches. The wines were all delicious, and we ended up purchasing a few bottles. The space is lovely, and we hope to return in the summer to sit outside!

Our host Mark was amazing! Super friendly and knowledgeable and served us exactly what we were looking for and even some new fun wines!

Excellent wines, especially their Syrahs. Wide variety of Bordeaux-style wines (blends) and single grape varietals. This isn't a traditional tasting room - really more of a single owner wine bar, so don't expect your server to educate you on the wines/winemaker/etc.
