This hotel is located in a very quiet street surrounded by residential homes. Very nice and quaint; great location right on the water and near all necessities such as restaurants, groceries and shopping. We went for a couple of days to visit a friend and the location of this hotel was perfect. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the amenities, but they have complimentary kayaks, a pool and grill area. Property was well maintained and room was very clean. We rented a 1 bedroom condo with full bathroom and full kitchen. The balcony has a great view of the water and so quiet and serene. We spent most of our days outside but the room had everything we needed. There were a couple of issues in the bathroom which I addressed with Stacy and were handled immediately. My only negative comment is that the bed is only a full size and mattress was uncomfortable. For a couple sleeping on a full size bed is uncomfortable and tight space. The sofa bed was uncomfortable as well. Not a total deal breaker but yes both were uncomfortable. But I can easily overlook this inconvenience as there are so many other great amenities and I would definitely recommend this hotel. And I definitely plan and hope to stay here again.

Amazing place to stay and minutes from everything! Easy check in process and the room was fantastic! Great proximity to fishing and food. Kayaks were available for us to use and the pool offered a wonderful view!

We have stayed here several times with our grands. Balcony and semi private porch. Cost is similar to most upper hotels per night. However it offers a different experience. Quaint, clean, up to date units, locale to Matlacha and Pine Island. Best local restaurants, fishing, grilling, small pool. The host is very attentive. AC works great! Convenient parking. Smart TV receives better than any hotel we've stayed in there. Wifi works without interruption.

What a great property! The grounds are well kept, clean and tidy! The area is quiet and peaceful. The staff is super friendly and very attentive to the needs of the guests. I would highly recommend Matlacha on Shoreview to anyone looking for a fantastic southwest Florida visit!

We have stayed here for two months. We have had a great experience thanks to Stacie and the staff being extremely helpful and kind. It is a gem of a resort tucked away in a quiet neighborhood off the main road going through Matlacha. The grounds and rooms are beautiful. We brought our own boat which they have ample docking space for, and fresh water available to flush the motor after use. The local waterway is a wildlife dream come true.We saw Dolphins and Manatees daily. Quite often from the dock area at the resort. Fishing was good for Snapper, Redfish, Sheepshead, and trout. To be honest I had almost as good of luck fishing right off the dock area, as in the boat. The real highlight of this place is the Manager Stacie. The owners are lucky to have her, as she cares about everything and everyone here. Dedicated to making this resort the best it can be is the best way to describe our experience with her. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

We stayed there for 4 days and the service was wonderful, the rooms are very clean,pool,BBQ grill both charcoal and gass. The owner is available for anything you need.very nice! Definitely going next year! Also smoking is just a short walk by the water and a nice space to relax with a smoke. Also kept up so clean and comforting.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at this quaint, quiet, clean motel in Matlacha. The town is having a very slow rebuild from Hurricane Ian in 2022, so not much is open, but Matlacha on Shoreview has kayak and pool availabilities.

We stayed in the 2-person suite. The unit had ample space and was very clean with updated furnishings and finishes. The staff was friendly and attentive. Parking was close to the unit. Well-kept grounds and pool area. Great location and views. We come here often and will continue to do so. THANK you for a great weekend. See you soon...
