Mastro's Ocean Club - Fine dining restaurant in Fort Lauderdale - 3000 NE 32nd Ave, USA

So this was my first time dining at this place, the atmosphere was very nice, definitely for the grown and sexy. It is right on the water so pretty nice views. The waitress was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very pleasing to the palate as well as the cocktails. We ordered appetizers and it was hot and tasty. I ordered salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts it was very very very good. Now you must bring your wallet Because nothing is cheap, they even charge for the bread on the table which was delicious. It is well worth it to treat yourself and a great place for a date night. I highly recommend this place.

It was my first time coming here and I came for my birthday month and I loved every second of it . From the food , the scenery, the drinks and the comfort of being welcome to this fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant and trust me when I say it’s worth your try.

Mastro's Ocean Club (fair warning, beaucoup expensive - but I was told Happy Hour is great value) GOOD - Steaks, Service, atmosphere BAD - several of the non steak items (okay at best) I need to open by saying Mastro's is first and foremost a steakhouse. If no one in your party is ordering steak PASS until you are in the mood for steak. Their steak is by far their best food while many of the other dishes are okay, the price is too high for "okay." We had a GREAT experience at Mastro's. I was literally 1 foot from the water, the atmosphere is A+. Our server (and the Team) were excellent - attentive. The steaks are juicy, well-seasoned and huge (priced to match). A surprise start was the table-bread - far from a throw-away - crusty and delicious. The collosal shrimp cocktail was great, lobster bisque - excellent. I would avoid the scallops and the calamari- both present great but fall short. The scallops are under-seared and mushy. The calamari is over fried and the squid is totally lost. I made the mistake of ordering the chicken - it tasted fine, fairly juicy but it is served alone and looked very boring. It was fine but the price was not worth it. My step father's ribeye was off the charts. I would further avoid the mac and cheese side. It looks good but cooked with all natural cheese without cream. While that sounds good, it became a large chewy, dry mass in minutes. They should make a natural cheese sauce to give it a creamy texture. In sum, head to Mastro's for amazing steak and shrimp - stay on that yellow brick road and you will be VERY pleased.

My boyfriend set me a birthday dinner here and it was one of the best dinners I’ve had. Never been here before but I left happy and satisfied. Service was top tier, Portion sizes are great had a lot of leftovers, I love how they personalize the menu with your name if it’s your birthday, Alcohol drinks were tasty as well, and the scenery is beautiful. Definitely will be back soon.

Absolutely amazing experience. The ambiance of having dinner right on the water, the superior customer service, and the delectable dishes. There were many "off-menu" items that we chose, so you're not limited on food choices.

Amazing! My best friend and I celebrated my birthday here. I love good service and fine dining, and I received just that! I had the seabass, oysters and berry dream, extra sweet and she had calamari and salmon. We shared a few sides. My birthday butter cake was soooo Bomb! Alfonso and Luis were simply amazing! I have been meaning to write about our INCREDIBLE experience at Mastro’s. First off, if you are honored with having Reuben as your waiter, you hit the jackpot. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and such a great part of our Anniversary dinner. Speaking of, I called to surprise my husband with reservations here. I told them it was our anniversary and I was the one with a surprise. As soon as we sat down and we’re handed our menus, Mastro’s PRINTED AT THE TOP, “Happy Anniversary Sarah and Alejandro”. This special little touch, along with the out of this world menu, drinks, and ambiance, made our night unforgettable. Thank you again to the whole staff and we will be back. Also, don’t skip out on dessert! 🍰

This was my first visit since the change from Chart House to Mastro's. I have been coming here since it was Charlie's Crab many years ago. The new name and food is absolutely amazing!!! First off, the staff was great. I took my wife for her birthday, and they printed Happy Birthday and her name on top. The waiter was phenomenal!!! Ask for Manny! The manager even came over and spoke with us for a minute or so. There were a couple other staff members who came over for various things. Everyone one was amazing! Now to the food. The lobster cocktail was so fresh and delicious! I was very happy with the freshly made tasting cocktail sauce! I had my first ever crab cake, and it was so good. The bread service was nice and hot and fresh with a nice variety. The double cut pork chop was absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned. Wow!!! My wife's roast chicken was very good as well. The mashed potatoes were the perfect texture and flavor. The sorbet tasted like it was made in house, it was so good!! They gave my wife a free cheesecake slice with Happy Birthday and her name on the plate, written in chocolate. I was so blown away by the entire experience!!! As soon as we are able to, we will be back. Thank you for a wonderful birthday experience for my wife.
