Masterbaiter's crabs, bait, tackle - Crab house in New Castle - 775 S Dupont Hwy, USA

This is the 3rd time I gave this place a 2nd chance. I am officially never going back. I paid for XL crabs and got #2 today.The last time i called in a order and got there and he said oops I think I cooked your crabs with no apology. The time before that I got jumbo crabs and got #1 crabs. I have been coming here for 4 years patronized throughout COVID. I will never again

These large crabs are not very large... For number 1s they are very small... But they did have a lot of meat.in some of them..most were empty very light crabs.... Seems like they put a few bigger crabs on top... But the bag was mostly all smalls.... Mixed bag.... This place isnt very customer service friendly...Not much flavor to the crabs...im not sure what season they use on top...looked sandy and dirty.... store has a terrible smell..which makes the crabs have a bad smell...but it is a bait shop so..... I wont be going back... But it is a convenient location... Nice little shop... I guess you would just have to go and experience for yourself on this one... Over priced for the quality

First time there, seen it on a bypass often, so had the time and stopped in and have no regrets. The 🦀 Crabs 🦀 were oh-so-yummy 😋 and the fresh corn 🌽 was like icing on the cake! Satisfied first-time customer! Will add a picture later

I had been looking for lump crab meat. Found it here n it was very good. Called my friends n told them about the crabs. I will be back.l

Local small buisuness bait shop that tries to genuinely have the best bait they can get. They get 5 stars! Nothing is ever perfect but these guys do a great job. Plenty of live or fresh options and a good selection of fishing and crabbing gear. Always friendly enough too. These guys like what they do and no one is going to be a millionaire owning a bait/tackle shop. I thank you all for being there for us!! Pictures of the fish caught were from bait and tackle we used from your shop. All but trout returned to water.

The customer service was great. I got the pricing off line, but it was incorrect. My crabs were delicious! (A little small, though) A great place to buy crabs they’re available all year long.

This Was/Is My Go To For Crabs .. Ordering Weekly .. But For The Last 2 Months .. The Flavor Has Gone Down Hill. I Kept Ordering Hoping It Was Just A One Time Thing . Nope 2 & Three Times Later Same Issue.. Lack Of Flavor & Crabs Covered In Crab Gunk. I Normally Could Get Crabs For A Closer Time Frame .. Due To “Stacking” Crab Orders They Lost Business From Me A Few Times(2 Or More Hours Wait).. I Hope This Isn’t A Permanent Change .. I Hope To Be Back … ** The Response Is Unfounded To My Review. The Crabs Are Lacking Flavor Due To Stacking & Trying To Cramp All Orders In A Pot.. & Excessive Crab Gunk, When Receiving Steamed Orders. **

Customer service has literally went downhill! This use to be my go to spot with crabs! The last two times I’ve called the older gentleman who answered literally told me he didn’t have time to take a crab order he was too busy and hung up on me! I definitely will not be back! This was today 7/22 & 7/9 both times looking to order a bushel. (Answering question below)
