It was a beautiful spring like fall day for a hike. Moderate trail, narrow in spots, well marked, and beautiful views. The color was gorgeous.
It's been a great place to have family birthday parties and go hiking. Have to come back to do the kayaking pond. Beautiful spot!

Beautiful meadow with a short hike to the top of the hill. Very friendly sheep! 🐏 There are many more trails too. The hay day festival is worth checking out.
This is a hidden gem for the region! There's a wide range of hiking trails available to the public. Some trails are very easy (short, flat) others are more difficult (long, uneven terrain, some uphill portions). We saw several beautiful birds along the trail and DOZENS of orange salamanders.
There's a $4 admission charge for adults. They use the "honor code" payment system where you just drop bills into a wooden box. So make sure you bring exact change, especially during times when the nature center isn't open. There's no admission fee for Mass Audubon members.
Went snow shoeing here. Excellent beginner trails and fields for that!
What a beautiful little nature preserve! So many amazing critters both big and small so watch where you're stepping!
Highly recommend going after the rain or in the fall. Great hiking trails and one will even lead all the way to the summit of Mt. Wachusett.
Obviously, with the Audubon name comes great bird watching, too. Saw some turkeys and swallow on our adventure. 🦃🐦
Such a great place for hiking. I just went in December and had seen 6 deer. Hopefully in the warmer months they’ll be more wildlife.

Excellent short distance hike from Redemption Rock to top of Mt Wachusetts. It was wet and muddy but at the time no snow on the ground. We skirted around ski trails that were surprisingly active. Near the summit we did encounter areas of icy patches
The ice for your ice coffee is already made of ice COFFEE so it doesn't get watered down!
Also... everyone I have encountered was so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious (a breakfast burrito and pancakes) and the portions were very generous.
