One of my favorite hiking spots ever, very well marked with a combination of marshy and woodsy areas. Great for birding, deer scouting and photography
Come here early in the morning for some great bird watching. Wonderful walking trails, and plenty of places to gaze at nature.

They had everything! The catch and keep bird fry is superb. Bring your own butchering utensils , its unintended so unless you bring supplies you'll either be left looking at the birds like a common nerd, hungry, or begging for the chance to borrow an oil fryer from other guests. I beer battered a turtle and a sparrow! So good. I was able to use the wild flowers and grasses to quickly start a fire. Mmm narure is so darn tasty!!!
What a beautiful peaceful place to walk, get some fresh air. Not to mention the nature you will see, flowers, deer, birds galore!
Great trails, easy walking, fields and some shade. Boardwalks are fun. Turtles in streams. We saw a juvenile red-tailed hawk, see photo. He was sitting on a birdhouse, and let us approach very close. Entrance has voluntary contribution.
Beautiful walking paths. Serene and relaxing. Bring your camera - lots of birds, butterflies, dragonflies, even saw a deer!

Spectacular lobster rolls, possibly with the most lobster meat Iâve seen. We got the small and it had enough meat for 3 rolls. The clams were also extremely fresh and delicious, just a great local spot without a long wait even on a Saturday.
