Love coming here for as many performances as possible. Inexpensive, and almost always uplifting! Sharing pics of a recent contemporary opera program.
Great place for a military graduation. I would highly recommend this location. As a graduate of a different of a different school I can appreciate the aesthetics.
I can't yet speak with knowledge about the arts programs, which are the most important thing, but I can say some of the physical elements of the Center are showing their age. The folks we interacted with were knowledgeable and helpful. Will have to update later.
TRANSFORMATIONAL JOY!
[Preface: Im 56 and a lifelong, born and raised here NJ resident. From early training, a decade of lessons on varied musical instruments, intent listening to the language of music, awkward garage bands, solo and team practice through university Marching and Concert Band, my amateur pastime and love was the making of music. Then came adulthood and decades of the downward fight for survival of the once idyllic WASP lifestyle. End preface.]
Last evening's performance by The Rutgers Wind Ensemble at The Mason Gross Performing Arts Center *Returned me to the Conversation of Living.* Bravo to All who make this happen! The entire experience is fantastic! Everyone will love it!
Wow! The dance was awesome. For the first time in my life I saw a dance without music. The dancers are dedicated, and their passion and commitment is visible.
went to go see an opera, but unfortunately there were issues with the subtitles, as some of the meaning was lost in translation. it seemed that the closer you sit to the stage, the less visible they become. but fantastic performances by all regards.
I had the privilege and pleasure to attend the Doctor of Musical Arts Piano Recital of pianist Alexander Bui. Maestro Bui, a student of Daniel Epstein, reflects the best music has to offer. His technical skills coupled with his great musicality made the performance not only memorable but magical! Bravo to Alexander Bui and his illustriuos teacher Daniel Epstein for an inspiring afternoon.
A great resource for the community. I have been attending performances here for many years.
