Despite paying generous tip "in cash" to the bartender. They added extra charge on my credit card next day. The owner needs to pay them good so they don't treat the customers like that.
I bought the cod planks that came with 2 sides and got the fries and cheese curds. When I got the bill there was a $6 upcharge for the cheese curds but I wasn't told that when I ordered. When I brought this up to the server he said that he didn't know there was an upcharge until after I already ordered and then walked away. Poor service.
Nice look place. Modern but old wood feel. 9 large flatscreens to watch sporting events.
UPDATE: wings are amazing! Have them fixed naked and choose your favorite dipping. Ranch is homemade!!
My experience was less than ideal. I understand that a Saturday night can be very crazy and that staffing is difficult. However there are only a few tables in the place. We asked the bartender if we could sit in the open table. He confirmed with the waitress that would be fine. The bartender gave us our drinks and we went to the table. The waitress walked by us multiple times in the 30 minutes that we waited at the front table. Did not ever acknowledge that we were sitting there. Not even a "I will be right with you!" As a former server, you at least make eye contact and acknowledge when walking past. People at the bar that came in after us had their order taken and we didn't get so much as a Hi!.We left money on the table that hopefully covered our drinks and left because we couldn't even get the attention to pay for them. Only positive was the music was great while we were sitting there!
I have and will continue to drive an hour out of my way with coolers in my car to take home as many ribs as I can haul away. OUTSTANDING ribs and wings (and fries) that will make you wonder if you're still in Iowa.
Very good ribs on Sunday evening.
While I was a little reluctant to have a nice family lunch in a restaurant that seems a little heavy handed with the Confederate flag... I was pleasantly surprised. What a nice place to grab a beer and meal downtown. (There are no flags inside, fyi) The decor is top notch. Sort of a southern, whiskey bar kinda place. Lots of TVs for sports. The drink selection is pretty basic, but we had no problem sucking down some domestics. The food was better than I expected, with the Reuben seeming to be the highlight of the menu. Can't wait to give that Cuban a try!
This is neat looking bar with a western style. We stopped in to watch the Packer game on our way through. They have 5 large TVs over the bar making it great for watching sports. The bathrooms were clean and the food was good. I had the Reuben which could have used more kraut and dressing, but was good regardless. The beer was good as well and they have a decent selection. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that I am a beer drinker that prefers draft beer. They do not have any taps. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this venue.
What a hidden gem! We are so happy we stopped by. The extensive, creative and fun menu was amazing! Both beverages I got were delicious. Will definitely be back!
First time at The Lift yesterday, had heard great things, and it didn't disappoint. My band played last night, and from the time we walked in, until we left - we were impressed by the owner and staff. There are two main areas: bar side with pool tabl
I had been eyeing Ignite every time I drove by for quite some time. Iâm glad I finally signed up for a class!
When I arrived for the class both the instructor and the studio owner were there. Both were friendly, welcoming, and seemed excited to hav
Been trying to get here for years, and was finally able to make-it when they're open. LOTS of options (from sandwiches, to meats, to prepared meals), all seemed very reasonably priced.
It's not a big place, but they pack a lot into the small space (
We have stayed at Four Mounds on many occasions. Our 1st stay was in the Marvin Gardens cabin. Itâs a lovely rustic spot in a clearing overlooking the Mississippi River. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils for cooking, a beautiful (working) s
Just what youâd want at a local hangout, the food is always freshly made and tasty. And if you have a meal, youâll likely get a complimentary dessert! WDT is a must stop when youâre in Dubuque.
So good I came here thrice during our conference. Tried a variety of coffees but usually shared the big breakfast burrito with my coworker. The atmosphere was beautiful with tons of seating outside (front and back) and cute inside tables. Large varie

What a unique experience! Highly recommend supporting their mission. I had the pork quinoa bowl for breakfast, and the salsa verde was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the french toast bread pudding that was amazing. Leave some time to tour the
Great prices with similar menu to Chipoltes but without whole wheat tortillas option or tofu. Food: It was excellent. Staff: very attentive and helpful.
This neighborhood park has a sweet view of the Mississippi river, the Julian Dubuque Bridge as well as downtown Dubuque and East Dubuque. There is a small play structure and picnic tables in this pesticide-free park. You can't park directly in front
