This is obviously a hometown favorite. Country cooking with a twist. The green beans were very tasty. I am so glad we tried a true Mom and Pop restaurant. Support local.....
Once you learn which food choices you really like you’re in business. We love the green beads, limas, mashed potatoes, corn bread, and peach cobbler. Portions are huge in our Togo boxes !! Two people can share a meal! Leftovers!
It's hard to find places like Mary's Diner anymore. It's truly a classic style country cafeteria. The employees are friendly and patient. The atmosphere is like stepping back into my childhood. Some may not like that the inside hasn't been updated, but I love that it's a sort of time capsule. The food is also delicious. Both of my grandmothers are gone now, but this food was reminiscent of what we'd have at Sunday dinner or a church homecoming meal.
Most of the time their food Iis good. BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED 11-11-2023. Hamburger steak seem to be from a different recipe. And their Green Beans Was Terrible!!! Don't think I will come back again especially if it will be like this again
Mary's Diner catered our Christmas dinner this evening. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and great and the price was an awesome value. Everyone loved it. Thank you Mary's Diner for a wonderful experience.
If you are looking for heritage type country food look no further. The fried pork chops, squash, and banana pudding reminded me of the way my Grandmother made them over 49 years ago.
The staff is very friendly, and welcoming. If I'm ever back in the Danville area I will definitely be making a stop here!
Food was pretty run of the mill, very average, but was cold to lukewarm when served, also very over priced. Paid 45 dollars on 2 plates and 2 drinks absolutely obsurd pricing. Their banana pudding was very good at least. Still, never coming here again.
Place was awfully dirty. Register attendant wanted to socialize with everybody so by the time we paid and sat down our meal was cold. We spent $85.00 and that won't happen again. No wonder their business has fell off. Loose the stupid cowboy hats, it's a restaurant not a night club.

Casual dining area with plenty of indoor and a couple of outdoor seating.
Walked in and was greeted by two friendly people (likely the owners).
I ordered the cajun fried catfish sandwich ($10.16) which is their best seller. Very good! I Fresh fried
This was our 1st time dining at Culture. The food was very impressive. I had the Catfish and it was seasoned to perfection. If you've never tried Culture Restaurant you should give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Had a lovely lunch here last week. The waitress was kind enough to move us to the bar when a large group of noisy kids sat next to us. Food is very good. The chips and dip app is quite large, even for 2 people. We split that & then I had 2 tacos and
I got to see the very last Flamethrower Day show: the second unplanned showing because so many people showed up that they couldn't accept everyone for the posted show...or everyone left after the first unplanned show. We got about 30 total seconds of
Great park, very clean and family friendly, our dog even had a great time. The park has some sneezing views to be scene, there's even a skate park there... We enjoyed a picnic lunch under the pavilion by the children's park, the children played on th
