All around good. There is a bit of wait but well worth it. Food is freshly made and authentically Mexican. You also choices that include American style items like fish and chips.
It’s a rare thing for me to give a five star review to a restaurant. However, I have attended this particular restaurant for years for breakfast and lunch. I went back again today and just had to share. Marvins has been a staple in Cotati for a very long time, and most of the time I have been for breakfast, but today I got the Reuben sandwich. One of the best Rubens I have ever eaten. Very tasteful, corn beef with wonderfully fragrant and homemade sauerkraut, topped off with the perfect cheese and thousand island dressing. This is one of my top favorite sandwiches, and they did not let me down! First time I’ve had this here, and I highly recommend it! Sandwich came out piping hot, rye bread was toasty and crisp all in all a truly wonderful sandwich experience. When I arrived, as is per usual, the line was out the door waiting for seating. I walked up and asked if they had room for just one and got sat right down. One of the few perks of eating alone.! Even though they were stacked to the gills with customers, I had my drink, within five minutes my order taken and I had my sandwich within about 15 minutes, very reasonable, considering the number of people in the restaurant at the time and the quality of the sandwich. I highly recommend this establishment!!! Clean, well maintained and the staff rock!
I got the Veggie sandwich, add a fried egg. The portions are very generous, and good quality. The bread was soft and flavorful Produce fresh and plentiful I really enjoyed this sandwich. Could have used a little salt and pepper on the tomatoes or cucumber slices. Potato salad side was also very good. I will go back again.
We came on Saturday at 9:30 a.m., there was ample of parking at the lot shared with other businesses. No wait to get in or get seated. The place could use an upgrade. Customer service was efficient and friendly. Spanish and English is spoken here. Plenty of options on their menu. We ordered coffee, pork chops and chilaquiles. It took about 10 minutes to get our food. Pork chops were served with choice of eggs and choice of potatoes (hash browns or country potatoes). Pork chops were very juicy and tasty. Chilaquiles were served with carne asada (choice of cooking level), choice of eggs, and a side of tasty spicy salsa. The dish was delicious, but chilaquiles were cold. Then bill was brought, and I had to go pay at the cash register. Would go back.
Hands down the greatest breakfast, food and service! It cannot be beat! We eat breakfast here all the time. Eggs Benedict and the country fried steak. Perfect, every single time! LOVE LOVE LOVE MARVINS!!! Highest recommendation always!
The server that we have has been very rude. We are still here seated while I am writing this. He is an older Hispanic male, wears glasses, had no interest in our order, was annoyed when I asked for more napkins. Disappeared completely after bringing our food, up until he walks by and drops a check as he keeps walking without any acknowledgement. I requested jelly for our toast and our “waiter” could not even be bothered to bring the tiny cup of jelly by himself. The food was mediocre and the waiter a complete waste of a man, unfortunately it looks like he is the manager around here. Probably won’t come back, the Bellini cafe across the parking lot is far superior and the waitresses more polite & engaging.
Went here for the first time. I had the House omelette with home fries and toast. The only part of the meal that was hot was the omelette. Only check on me once while my mouth was full and disappeared before could tell them the home fries were cold. Never once offered to refill my coffee.
Amazing, first time here, definitely won’t be the last, get the chilaquiles (in pic) the chips were covered in a flavorful spicy sauce but stayed a little crispy, they are topped with queso fresco , sour cream, onions and 2 eggs, it all works amazing together, get it with the steak. But they also have it with chicken or chorizo, overall it was the most amazing breakfast I ever had, I recommended anyone who likes to eat good food to come, it’s worth the wait which there will be because it’s amazing
Most of my reviews are four or five-star, because I pick carefully what and where I'm going to eat. I went here with one of my good friend who had been here before. The first impression: the place looks clean and original. Delicious food and very fr
This was my first time here with my husband and daughter and I was a bit nervous. But service and food exceeded my expectations. Portions were well served, food was hot and tasted great. I will be going back soon.
This park is what makes Cotati so special. Awesome events are held here all year long, the accordion festival, Wednesday night markets, kis summer day, the list goes on and on. The stage is great for bands to perform and park is always clean and ful
The burgers and shakes are really good here. Wife and I split one that I ordered with an extra patty. The extra 1/2 pound of Angus chuck was not required, and threw off the delicate balance of beef to bun. In my defense, I was hangry. We also spli
Stopped because of the google reviews and hunger. Couldnât be happier. Got veggie items like spring rolls, vermicelli noodles & chow fun. Huge quantities, fresh vegetables, different types of tofu for the different dishes (rarely happens), noodles
Friendl, vibrant atmosphere. The baristas are all super-friendly, engaged with the customers, always greet you and the drinks are terrific. Peet's Cotati is the BEST! I like to say SUPER FINE! Ed
Neither snow nor rain nor sleet... we're outside drinking! They do it right here, great smoked meats, a plethora of fine brews, and a real staff makes this a cool hangout. They got a couple screens at the bar, Cornhole fields to attend to, and plenty
