Marvin Gardens Motel - Indoor lodging in Old Orchard Beach - 100 Atlantic Ave, USA

It was the last room left in OOB for the night while I was on business so I booked it. I didn't have high expectations but it exceeded! I was put in a cozy little cabin with a private backyard (fenced in) with a hot tub. The cabin was extremely clean, as was the hot tub. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but a great walk! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return!

Very clean well kept room, staff was gracious and respectful. Other reviews say it is "far" from the beach, it was only a couple minutes away from the pier. The front desk staff was exceptionally wonderful when I decided to extend my stay. Will be staying here again without a doubt!

For the price that was paid $250 per night I expected better. The mattress was very uncomfortable felt the springs. The pillows was hard. The air conditioner was on full blast with no remote to adjust. Had 1/4 of a roll of toilet for 2 days for 2 people. Was not very pleased. I give this place 1/5 I will not recommend this place.

I'm surprised how many bad reviews this motel has, I was expecting it to be bad. The location is decent but not perfect. You can walk to the beach, but it may take 10 minutes, and if you have trouble walking, I recommend this isn't the place for you. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is small. My daughter's enjoyed the swimming pool very much. Our room was clean and didn't have any issues. We would stay again.

Owners son looked into my bathroom window! I spoke to someone on sight who guaranteed it would be taken care of with the owner as she wasn’t there at the time but would be back shortly (the mother of the young man who peaked into the bathroom window) yet I never received any type of apology until I approached them again the following day. I was told he is does maintenance but is still somehow “unaware” of which windows are bathrooms. The owner was not remorseful for her sons actions at all. While checking in I also had a very unpleasant experience with a very young man who claimed to be the owners sons, best friend. I asked him about parking, the trolley, and a couple other things regarding our stay which he laughed in my face and said “i don’t know. i just work here” I also asked why our 2 room we booked weren’t next to each other and his answer to that was “people don’t do their jobs here so things aren’t clean” CRAZY!

Awful experience and choice to go here with a group of friends. One of the rooms said to have room for 6 had a broken bed they didn’t know about until we checked in at 4pm so we were given a cot for one. We had someone sleeping on the floor because they just didn’t have rooms or more beds. Not having the beds that were promised was just upsetting for a group that was excited to spend the night in the area. Would not suggest going here unless you have low standards.

Parking was the biggest problem very tight space should be tared with lines for parking and very loud noises from other rooms and guests and cleaners at 7am ! That's are only complaint ! But great price , location and the room was very clean new paint and comfortable Beds and AC and 5 min from old orchard by car we would stay again easily !

This was a an excellent and easy place to stay for a quick girls weekend to Maine! Me and my friend found the place and staff very nice and a great location to travel around the area! The staff was incredible kind and made our stay great! It’s also really close to a Walgreens which was helpful.
