Marty's Place North - American restaurant in Woodruff - 2721 US-51, USA

Marty's was excellent. Where the deep fried walleye and the pan fried walleye with asparagus and baked potato. We also had the French onion soup and the cheese and pâté platter. The only thing that could have been improved was that my Southern Comfort Fashions were a bit light on Southern Comfort. I definitely recommend this supper club.

As far as supper club venues go, Marty's has lots of history. Their restaurant has many interesting features, for those that appreciate that part of a dining out experience. And while virtually every supper club serves a basket of crackers with every meal, Marty's included a tasty few forkfuls of tuna noodle casserole. Lastly, and for those who like french dressing on their salad, this is the best most unique recipe that you'll enjoy.

Had a really great experience here. Service was wonderful, bartenders were friendly and welcoming, and food was delicious. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next night for a late-night cocktail.

Nice supper club feel and decor. Broasted chicken was overcooked. Skin shattered on bite. My wienerschnitzel was the thinnest piece of meat ever. Overeasy egg on top had no yolk - overcooked. Sunday night with customers but not crowded. Nice lazy susan,

The overall food and service was great. The waiters/waitresses were fantastic. The owner seemed a little pushy towards the staff creating a sumwhat hectic enciorment. The staff seemed a little over whelmed with her presance. Over all it was good if you come on a day without the owner it would probably be more relaxing.

Marty's Place North needs to be towards the top of your "Supper Club" bucket list! True WI Supper Club making you feel right at home. From the ambience to the excellent customer service. Marty's welcomes you with a warm smile & even warmer overall experience! We had the Captains Platter, Shrimp Scampie, French Onion Soup, muddled Old Fashions & an out of this world Grasshopper! The prices & service are well aligned with traditional WI Supper Clubs. Wish we had captured pics of our meal, although we did capture the Grasshopper.

Marty's North..I wish I had food photos because it was so deelish! Parmesan scallops, Captains Fish Platter and their famous Chicken Carbonara. Our server, Emily, was fantastic.. We're also impressed with their heavy pour..

Simply delightful! We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated right away. The surroundings are unique and elegant 'up north ' feel. Even though there was a sign saying they were short staffed and training new people, you would never know it! We were so well taken care of. They offered to take drink orders right away and the came promptly and were delicious. The menu is varied and unique. THE FOOD! They had crackers and cheese, liver pate,etc . Soup ( amazing) or salad. Rolls and muffins. I had blackened salmon, my husband had the most generous portion of deep fried walleye, daughter had shrimp scampi. All were cooked perfectly!!😊. Beautiful desserts, but had no room. Wonderful place and experience.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
