Martin's Fish House - Seafood restaurant in Jackson - 5249 Clinton Blvd, USA

I got the catfish dinner. It came with two sides I choose macaroni and fried okra. Both of the sides were pretty good. The fish was nice and hot perfectly seasoned. Nice size portions for your money. The hush puppies were just a ball of fried bread nothing special at all. Cash only and it’s an increased price for farm raised catfish $19 or $16 for imported. Tater sauce is an extra 50 cents but it’s so very delicious.

The food was ok my second visit. It was hot and fresh. The serving size is fair. However, this time the fish didn't have enough seasoning on it. The prices were slightly higher than my previous visit. The place was crowded but they gave the customers ticket numbers after each order. That made everything run a little smoother and people were constantly in and out. The parking lot is small. You have to literally back out in the street a little just to get out, especially if they are extremely busy. With that being said, I like the food but I believe I'll try something else on the menu next time.

I go here occasionally to grab breakfast or lunch. It's been good every time and the staff have always been nice. My go-to is the catfish nugget order fried hard. So far they've gotten it fried just right for me every time. And it's a lot of fish to me. I have enough leftover for another complete meal.

The pantrout order was so good! Fried jus to my liking (hard). 4 nice size pieces came wit it. The fried broccoli was everything! Would have been nice to sit and eat but looks like everyone was getting orders to go. Parking is limited but overall service was pretty quick. They are really busy but it's worth the wait. They even had nice cold beers. I will be back again to patronize!

Ordered Buffalo rib plate only got 1full rib and about 6 short rib and small boney back pieces and 1 full boney back piece, surprisingly disappointed the pantrout plate was good 31.00+ order, came from yazoo..it will be a while! Plus it was for my Birthday 🎂

Found this place while driving one day. The beautiful vintage sign caught my attention! I love vintage signs and i love fish houses and i think this is perfect timing! So i wasted no time and tried this place. My work has allowed me to be all over Mississippi, small town and big town, i always try the local fish houses and i have tried quite many. But Wow, i can say that this is definitely in my Top 5 list! I mean, most places only have catfish or catfish and pan trout. But Martin's they have them both plus Buffalo and ocean perch! And their fish is done best, juicy and not over cooked with just the right amount of breading not to alter the flavor of the fish, good crunch and crispiness and almost no trace of grease! Very nice subtle flavor and delicious. Portions are more than enough and right on the dollar! The place is homey and the staff are good people! Been to this place many times and each time is pleasantly good eating. My friends loved it too when i recommended it to them.

This is pretty much the only eatery that I'll go to an ATM for. They are cash only and take out only. It's super busy on Friday evenings. My food has always been fresh, tasty, and hot. I love the whole catfish.

Service was fast and the food was great!. If you like a good portion of food for the price, this is your place. I ate off the plate for 2 days.
