Mediocre BBQ. Went in and ordered at the counter. Service was great, food however was bland. Sauce is watery and I found the brisket to be kind of dry. Spare ribs were good but nothing to take note about. Mac and cheese was okay, baked beans were the highlight and they were just pretty good. Presentation and looks are on point, but it led to a let down in taste. Overall, just another spot that’s good enough for a quick lunch. Food was served quickly and was only warm.

Cafeteria like experience but country. I asked the cashier what he recommended and he said that he always points new people to the BBQ Nachos…which did not disappoint. Has a sweetness to it, from the slaw, and tanginess to it, the bbq sauce…very good! There are jalapeños on it, so if you don’t want a kick ask for none.. as my mouth was on fire after my meal..but I am a lightweight when it comes to heat. When done leave your plate and they take care of it. Overall great experience!

Good atmosphere, great service, and an overall enjoyable restaurant. The ribs were not as good as I'd hoped (or had been told) but it was still a great dinner. (Also, they have a great selection of on-tap beers)

Pretty chill spot . Everything was ok . No complaints. They bring your food out but mainly self serve . Green beans have a lot of pepper which is what I like . Brisket was tender . Hush puppies were more savory compared to what I’m used to. I like that one of the workers knew this so I was able to know what to expect. Favorite thing : Mac and cheese . Least favorite : baked beans

Food was okay. The service was great though, which gives it some sort of balance. I ordered the 1/2 chicken (dark meat) with green beans and mac and cheese. The green beans were salty and peppery (not a bad combination) and the mac and cheese was a little off because of the breading. The chicken was tender and smoked. It’s also a very loud environment so just be aware.

I came in from GA, for an appointment at Vanderbilt. The atmosphere was okay it was very hot 🥵 like the AC was broken. However, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a variety of menu items (catfish tacos, smoked dry-rubbed wings, Brunswick stew, mac&cheese, baked beans, potato salad, pulled pork sandwich, spare ribs, and brisket). The wings, ribs, potato salad, and baked beans were amazing! Everything else was okay.

Great BBQ in a family friendly atmosphere. The casual outdoor area is great for families with young kids, AND dog friendly. Small things that would make it even better 1) paper sheets and crayons for kids to color on, and 2) the wooden fence keeping kids away from the busy road has gaping holes. Staple up some chicken wire so I can stop stressing about the two year old getting into the road and focus on more on which beer I want to order next. I will absolutely be back. We had a great time and I didn’t have to worry about my kids bothering anyone outside which was great!

Sunday we met family in Birmingham at Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint at the request of my brother. It's one of his favorite places & he couldn't wait to share it with us! What a great place! I don't like slaw at all but my brother order the BBQ pork & chicken nachos with slaw on the top. After talking me into it I be tried them and they were great! Surprisingly good, and I was taken by surprise. Then my Brisket Burger showed up and it surpassed my expectations. It was really one of the best burgers ever and the fries were just as good! Don't miss this place, it's a keeper and we will be back again!
