First time at this park. And will definitely be back for their Fourth of July show. The cypress gardens water ski club does free shows here on certain saturdays, will definitely check out the show.
Love the renovations and that events are held in on a regular basis. Plenty of grass area shaded by the trees. Clean restroom and we'll lit. The Cypress ski show is awesome. Good sound quality and every seat is a good seat.
Parking at the park is limited, but plenty within a short walk. Facility is well maintained, bathrooms are large, pet friendly, and with the perfect slope down to the water it's the perfect location for watching the water-skiing show!

It is a very quiet park. It has free parking. It has several places for events. It's a modern park. My friends practic dance with flags some Wednesdays.
MLK JR PARK is a great location and area to go and enjoy the lake view, skating park and walking path. It’s location is a walking distance to many local restaurants for good eats! It’s a beautiful space to experience! If you’re in the Winter Haven area be sure to visit the downtown happenings and take in a walk around MLK JR PARK for a peaceful stroll!
We try to go to the free water ski shows on Lake Silver as often as possible! They are the 3rd Saturday of each month. The Cypress Gardens Water Ski team performs.
I came to Fl 35years ago and in all of those years I have never had a real crab cake like the ones you get in MD well this is the place to go they are fantastic all crab meat and no filler the best in this whole state number #1 go and get one you'll definitely will be glad you did.
