We had great experience ! Place is colorful and peaceful. Just picture perfect !

The original "tiny house" movement. Originated from 19th century Methodist campouts, these little cottages stand as a reminder that even 170 years ago people yearned for simplicity. The employees here are very knowledgeable and kind. A must see while in Martha's Vineyard.

The Museum is a nice place to visit in Oak Bluff .You get to know what led to making of Ginger Bread Cottages. You get to see things and life style around a century old.

I'm so glad we decided to brave a downpour and check out this gem of a museum. For a mere $3, we received so much in return. The docent was delightful, and we learned so much about the history and present way of life in the campground. Being able to check out the upstairs floor was the best part. One of my favorite parts of my vacation.

Really nice place for a quiet walk. I suggest very early in the morning, grab a coffee at MochaMutts and donut at the bakery and walk through this area. Great way to start the day

Best place to view on the island.

Don't waste your time here. I was expecting to experience what it would be like to live in one of these historical Gingerbread homes, but this walk through was far from it. There are 2 rooms of random, unimpressive artifacts and the upstairs was restricted. The 3rd room is a gift shop. Admission is $3 per person, save it.

The history here is awesome! To witness what life was like in 1800 and early 1900 Martha's Vineyard are was phenomenal!
