Plain park with some lake front. Not really a beach, but you can wade or put in with a paddle board. People take their dogs here and sometimes have parties. One or two benches, no pavilion or covered area. Parking is pretty minimal and signs warn of theft. It's not amazing, but it's generally quiet enough and is adequate for the locals.
Beautiful park along the water, and a great place to take your dog with a huge grass area, plus a nice place for them to take a dip. Only downside to the park is the mud, which gets pretty bad during the wet winter months.
Went to Sweard Park (about a mile North of here) and could tell it was packed by the lack of parking, plus the closed streets. Drive down here to check out the parking situation and immediately found parking and the nicest little alcove to read in quiet (with waves crashing in the background). If you need a nice little getaway, this is the spot! 💓
Gorgeous at dusk. Great place to picnic I am guessing
Cute little park. The grassy area is sunny and spacious.
There's a few spots to access the water for kayaking/ paddleboarding/ swimming here. It's a VERY nicely protected part of Lake WA to do so. It's only half a mile by water to reach Seward Park. It's not a big open access to the water. There are a few small tree breaks. Parking is atrocious and nearly impossible if you're not there way early or late. I don't think it's a safe spot for someone to be alone here, down by the water. The water can be accessed by 2 sides of the park. Imagine a U shape, where the bottom of the letter would be the water. If a never do well were to come past when you're there alone, you would be at their mercy. For botany enthusiasts- there is a (now) rare tree in this park that used to be all over the Seattle area before... people. I can't remember the name, but I once met a naturalist from the City of Bellevue who was there putting some of the seeds in a protective netting to keep the squirrels away.
Just hoping that hoards of people don't go dashing over there because it's really small and parking is not the easiest, but it's lovely and well worth it if you do. The lake is clear. The view is perfect. Little pebble beaches are scattered along the water's edge. I recommend water shoes or socks to help with big rocks. It's in a residential neighbourhood so no typical amenities.
Nice and quiet. Seemed like parking was limited from the entrance. Access to water was easy and suitable for all ages. Mercer Island dominates the eastern view and looking south reveals a towering mountain… good ol Rainer :)

Love Alki...not too many people on this day. When it's crowded, oblivious people often stand in the middle of the bike and walk paths to visit. That can be frustrating as u are trying to jog or bike through.
Beautiful hidden gem in a wonderful neighborhood. The lake view is lovely and the main walking path has several small beaches that are easily spotted. The park's hidden hiking trails are wonderful walks through the forest. Playground located nicely b
Small, quiet, wonderfully away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Could actually see some stars due to the fact of no lights in it. The harbor below was lit up like New Year's Eve.. I love this little park. This is the place to sit with a friend
The parking is a little confusing but if you can find a spot you can find the park :) donât walk down the stairs! Thatâs the wrong way! The park looks better in person. Not the most amazing view but itâs a well kept park adorned with sculptures
WOW! This place is gorgeous! Sure there are tons of houses by this area that you can't afford, but you know what? It's free to come here! Much easier if you have a car of course, but if you walk all the way here, there are tons of staircases you
