Check-in was quick. I requested a top floor room a few weeks before arrival. I was surprised when they gave me a middle floor room without acknowledging the request couldn’t be filled. The resort itself was nice, but nothing over the top. Nice gym, pool, etc. I really liked that there was a walking path near the hotel that followed a stream. They had a shuttle service to take you to the village. The room was nice. There were a few issues that shouldn’t have been there, but they fixed one of them quickly. The dishwasher was not connected and slid right out from under the counter. The bathroom fan was noisy. There was an outlet missing half the plate. None of those were deal breakers. There is no AC so at night sleeping with the window’s open is a must to keep the room cool. Overall, not a bad place to stay in Vail. I will definitely try them again.
Our stay at the Marriott stream side Douglas building was great. We arrived prior to check-in and were surprised to be offered an early check-in that we weren’t able to utilize as we were skiing :) each employee we interacted with at the hotel was kind and accommodating. The outdoor hot tub was kept at a very hot temperature and had strong jets which is always a plus. They had 3 fans available in the room which seem handy for the summer months, one of which was a large Dyson portable fan. We took advantage free bagel bar Sunday morning. Thanks for a great stay.
We recently stayed at Marriott's StreamSide Birch At Vail and were granted a late checkout. However, when we returned to our room before the agreed time, housekeeping had removed all our items, including food and drinks and personal items. The hotel manager initially promised compensation and a free stay but has since been unresponsive. This lack of follow-through is highly disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel due to their poor handling of guest issues and failure to provide promised compensation. We were not looking for anything more than a reimbursement for the items that were taken but we have had no follow through.
Checked-in at 11 am, they said check out was at 10:00 am so they need some time to clean the room but that my room was priority because of my early check-in. I came back to the hotel at 1 pm and the front desk staff said my room won’t be ready until 2:30 pm. Worst service I’ve had in the Valley and I’ve been coming up here for work trips every other week since March
The lady at the Aspen building front desk, who is a natural Spanish speaker, has the worst and most terrible attitude towards customers, she is rude and condescending. I was never mean or rude towards her. I was just asking for a lost package. When I asked her and couldn’t find my package which was marked as delivered she answers back with a “I told you what I know (because my package was lost) and the rest is your problem, when I turned around she kept talking behind my back, Listen marriot you are a 5 star hotel, no I don’t expect special treatment or anything out of the way, just respectful dialogue, because I’m a guest and overall a regular person who should be treated respectfully like any other. If the lady is mad or having a bad day please consider removing her from your front desk services, she is the front of your building remember you are a world class 5 star hotel, I’ve had better and more polite service in motel 6 shameful and out of the way for this woman to be woriking in the hospitality industry, maybe reconsider a new career, or maybe and DEFINITELY NOT FRONT DESK! Staff looks and feel over worked and tired
I think I chose to visit at a good time since the apartment didn’t have air conditioning. I had no discomfort in September and enjoyed my multi night stay. There was a Murphy bed which was pretty cool and comfortable, actually. I used the free laundry facilities downstairs. Enjoyed baking brownies and cooking breakfast. Had most utensils I needed, and the market was nearby. I would definitely stay again.
Perfect location for skiing in Vail. There’s a shuttle that takes you to Lionshead, and they have activities throughout the days when you’re not heading to the slopes. Staff is friendly & area is clean with recently (within past few years) updated rooms.
For a business trip to the area-this was a solid option! Large rooms, well appointed and very clean. The no AC thing did not bother me at all, nor did I need it, even in mid August. They provided some lovely Dyson fans which helped, but it is also nice to enjoy the windows being open. ||Staff was all very gracious and friendly. The building itself is a little tired. Location is good for activities, just outside of Vail Village. You could walk it, if you are in the mood for exercise. I think in the summer it is more ideal than the winter as far as location to activities BUT the shuttle is fantastic and makes all of that obsolete any time of year. ||Vail is expensive all the time, so no surprise there that this was a hefty nightly rate even on a Monday. Seemed like a great place for families.

We stayed in a townhouse. It was perfect. Small kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was less than 10 mins from the village/lift. It was very relaxing. We even called the front desk for a couple things and they were super quick to respond.
Beautiful dog park. I stopped on my travels from the West Coast to the Midwest. Not far off the freeway and very friendly locals. Beautiful spot in the valley.
I was in Vail for a work trip with several colleagues and on a day when a few of us went skiing, we all decided to meet here for lunch during the day. The location and atmosphere is amazing, with great views of the mountains. The food was really good
Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.
Decided to try something simple and delicious, Blü Cow was just the right place. Their Swiss hot dogs are yummy, along with rejuvenating Uber Soup. Friendly service.
Great Italian restaurant in Vail. Highly recommend reservations, although one can arrive early and get to snag a seat at the bar (which often has people eating there). They have a nice wine selection, which because itâs Colorado, you can take your
