Marriott's StreamSide Birch at Vail - Hotel in Vail - 2284 S Frontage Rd W, USA

Tim & Robbie at the front desk were incredibly hospitable and helpful. The room was great, minus the loud traffic noise from I-70. Pool was fantastic, the grounds were very well kept. The free shuttle service was also a nice perk. The public transportation to the village was extremely easy and close to the hotel. Overall we had a great experience and would stay again.

A mixed experience. We were there for ten days of skiing. Room overall was nice and roomy. We had our kids along and the two queens in the second bedroom were good. Service was a bit spotty. For instance we scheduled a cleaning as we were there for longer than ten days and they didn’t show. After calling them they came the next day which was fine but less convenient as we had planned to be away when they cleaned. We also had microwave problems where it kicked the breaker. Maintenance came and reset the breaker and tested it for ten seconds. Soon after he left we tried it for longer and it popped it again. Called for maintenance to come back and no body showed up. The worst part was the bus service to the slopes. The drivers were good but they simply dont run enough buses or big enough buses often enough. When they came to pick up at the slopes at the end of the day you would see a rush of people to the bus. I had several times when I had to stand up for the ride back which is no fun in a swaying bus after a day of skiing. Vail is wonderful but I doubt we will return here.

Stayed in the Birch building. Great value for the 4th of July week. Our room was on east side, without AC we had the windows open and could hear the traffic on I-70. That was the only negative for us. We loved the pool, fitness room, lounge, fire pit, and bbq grill. We used the shuttle to go to the village, it was easy and efficient. Staff were friendly and attentive, the room and common areas were clean and well maintained.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Streamside Birch in Vail, CO, and were granted a late checkout. However, when we returned to our room before the agreed time, housekeeping had removed all our items, including over $300 of food and drinks and some personal items. The hotel manager, Daniel, initially promised compensation and a free stay but has since been unresponsive. This lack of follow-through is highly disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this hotel due to their poor handling of guest issues. Daniel admitted removing the items was their mistake and agreed to compensate us for the items but has since stopped responding to emails and calls. This behavior is highly unprofessional.

Stayed almost 2 years ago with a neighbor. Loved the room and amenities. Lost a ring and got help finding it. BUT we learned quickly this isn't a place for black people. The gas station attendants were rude and made racist comments and then when we looked into booking ourselves a room this year there was an immediate response of NO. I WONDER WHY? Could it be racism? Well see when I have a friend put in a booking request!

Really nice location and cozy views but some major issues. The hotel has dirty bedding . Our sheets had cockroach eggs on them which was disgusting enough by itself, but then when we asked to get the sheets replaced the new ones were also stained. Comforters were also stained. Another issue was that there is no sound isolation at all. We were traveling during Christmas season and the neighbors partying kept us up all night cause you can hear every word.

The location is great, staff is outstanding. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We stayed In the birch villas. Room was ok but very dated. Spacious with a well equipped kitchen, and gas fireplace. We were in rm 2303 which had great views of the mountain side. The only issue we had beside being dated was the exhaust fan in the bathroom, sounded like a freight train. The only way I would stay here again is if they remodeled, which it seems like they are currently In the process of.

My family and I stayed here last night. Wow, I have to say this place was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The linens were pressed and the bathroom and kitchen were both spotless. Really I'm congratulating the cleaning staff, I feel they are going out of their way to really make the difference here. Other things about our room I enjoyed were the gas fireplace, the deer outside our patio and the extra large tv. We watched Tomb Raider, Twilight and Billy Madison. Sounds like fun, right? Well, throw in a beer or two and you'll be set like I was..
