This was a fairly nice hotel. When you book a room, they'll want to give you the time share pitch. But just decline. They were supposed to email us dining and activity recommendations, but when my wife declined the sales pitch, they blew that part off. The room was nice, but the bed was way too soft and lumpy. It was a king bed, and the center was higher than the left and right sides due to drooping. It was almost like you'd roll off each side of the bed. Most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in, ever. The hallways are not marked well. We seriously got lost a few times trying to find our room. One elevator said floor 1 was the lobby, but it took us to the parking garage, and then you had to walk through the garage to get to the lobby. Very weird. Just seemed a bit off here. Overall, it was a nice place. Nice pool area as well. I might stay here again. I just don't like when you book a room that they try to sell you a timeshare. If I wanted a timeshare, I'd ask. Quit the pressure sell, guys. Sorry I didn't take any photos here.

Last year while at the Marriott Mountainside my wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay and took advantage of going out on a couple of hikes sponsored and provided by the resort. These activities with transport were complementary for guests. The “guide” for these was an amazing host named Julie. She was upbeat, with a great personality, full of local information and super attentive to the needs of all the resort guests. We visited local shops, a creamery/restaurant and the hikes were great. This year we came back to Park City to help a granddaughter get checked into BYU and we were able to schedule a day outing with Julie’s group. Provo Falls and a short easy hike around Mirror lake at 10,000 feet. A stop at a local smoke house (smoked trout, salmon) with great sandwiches and back to the resort. She was the same friendly, fun person we’d been with the year before. We highly recommend that your stay at the Marriott Mountainside include some of the activities hosted by Julie.

Phenomenal customer service, great reservation system, a front desk employee named “Justin” gave us a great room on the top floor since it was a belated anniversary trip! Jonathan at the front desk also was very personable, and the BILL captain took our groceries that were melting to put them in their freezer while we waited for a room, and then brought them upstairs for us…. Such wonderful and prompt service! | Room 7929 had a fabulous view of the pool and mountainside with great shampoo/conditioner/shower gel to boot! Amazingly clean, whenever we needed to call for any item like an extra floor mat or towels someone answer the phone within one to two rings and were very prompt to deliver items and help us in anyway needed.| Very comfortable bed, soft linens, a kitchen with every amenities needed (tho Spatulas would be a nice addition!).| The gym was fairly warm a few days in a row so I finally noticed over by the towels & water there was a number to text … the response was immediate! Not one, but three employees came down, almost immediately and brought a fan, and sent engineers to figure out what was going on (it was 79°), & they apologize and promptly went about getting it fixed!… such amazing |responses! | The pool was just the right temp & had a swimming lane designated for lap swimmers. Multiple clean and perfect temp, hot tubs with colored lights and one designated as a “quiet“ tub which is nice due to so many families/kids who were all having a ball!| Every detail is appreciated from the special green “ chlorophyll” cold water in the lobby to help you adjust to the altitude (approx. 7,000 feet), to nooo pressure for timeshare presentations. (Phew!)

We just returned from a week's stay at the Marriott's Mountainside. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious and wonderfully appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer unit in the main section, which we used frequently. The kids loved the colorful fireplace, which we were able to use without heat. We appreciated the cleanliness of the unit as well as the resort. The kids loved the pool area and the activities offered such as "Brats and Blues" night, the magic show, and the free snow cones. It was so relaxing to sit in the hot tub within views of the ski lift and mountains. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the free parking in the garage -- although spaces are tight!||There were a few downsides to the week: We are not sure why the staff had to power wash the pool area in the morning when so many people were trying to relax. As the worker pulled the hose to navigate his machine, he pulled on it and caused one of the kids to trip and fall. The power washing was extremely loud and could have been done before the pool opened at 8:00 am. We overheard a family say how they lied to the staff about their "service dog" and simply put a vest on their pet to get him into the resort because they did not want to leave her at home. (Not specifically the resort's issue, but someone could have vetted the service animal better.) Also, since we booked the resort through the Interval, we were "strongly encouraged" before we arrived as well as upon check-in to sit for their timeshare presentation. Even after we declined, we would receive phone calls from the Concierge THE MOMENT we walked into our unit after being at the pool for several hours (as if they knew exactly when our key cards allowed us access to our units...."Hey, they're back in their rooms! Call now!")||Overall, we truly enjoyed our vacation. The resort is a five-minute drive or a fifteen-minute walk from the main street in Park City, so the location could not be better. We would definitely consider returning to Marriott's Mountainside on a future trip to Utah.

Recently stayed for a summer vacation and we had an amazing time. Kate at the front desk was very helpful and check-in was a breeze. Rooms are nicely renovated and perfect for our stay. Pool was great, staff was friendly, and location can't be beat. We will be back.

Love the pool and the multiple hot tubs here. The room is nice. The people are super helpful. I had break issues and asked the front desk if there is any good mechanic. When they saw my Toyota they told me there are many dealers close by. I very grateful for the nice employees.

This is my favorite place to go for a staycation! My husband and I have come for a couple of little anniversary trips and it’s quiet and relaxing. It is just gorgeous and the views are amazing. I love all of the different hot tubs in different levels tucked behind rocks.

Overall, our stay at Marriott Mountain Side was a mix of delight and slight disappointment. The room we stayed in was undeniably beautiful, offering a cozy and luxurious atmosphere, the hot tubs and pools were lovely; all of that made our stay quite enjoyable. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. One of the highlights of the resort is its close proximity to Main Street, just a half-mile walk or a quick bus ride away. This convenience made it easy for us to explore the area and enjoy the local attractions and dining options. However, there were some drawbacks to our experience. The walls in the room were surprisingly thin, which meant we could hear our neighbors snoring at night. Another issue was with the fireplaces. We had paid for an upgraded room specifically for the fireplace, only to find out upon arrival that all fireplaces were being updated and were not available during our stay. This was quite frustrating, especially since it was not mentioned on the booking website. Despite raising this concern with the staff, no resolution was offered apart from "complimentary s'more kits." While a nice gesture, it felt like a generic offering given to all guests, rather than a meaningful resolution to the inconvenience we faced. We also left an item in the room right as we walked out for check out (keys left in room), so we asked housekeeping who was finishing up in the neighboring room if she could assist us get the item and she absolutely refused which was surprising. In summary, Marriott Mountain Side offers a beautiful room, friendly staff, and a convenient location we would visit again. However, better communication regarding any unavailable amenities would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Phenomenal food and friendly, fantastic service from Sonny. The beef patty was to die for and everything else (oxtail, roti curry, jerk chicken and shrimp) was so flavorful too! We'll definitely be back soon.
