First time visiting Oahu, Ko Olina, and this Marriott Beach Club resort. We’ve been fortunate to travel the world and I’ll say our experience exceeded expectations on our recent visit over Christmas. We had a three bedroom villa for our five person (three teenagers!) family and we had more than enough space. While some have commented that you’re far from Honolulu, that is indeed the case by approx 30min but we felt fortunate to be away from the crowded concrete jungle of the city. Ko Olina is magical and feels both exclusive and secluded. The rooms and hotel itself are modern and felt recently renovated. Ko Olina has multiple restaurants within walking/short drive distance including Roy’s and Monkeypods which we highly recommend. The resort’s expansive pools, beautiful lagoons, and many amenities make this a must visit. Additionally, all the team members were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We’re so happy to have to finally made the trek to Oahu and look forward to returning to this property someday in the future.

Another great trip (#5) to the most amazing property with the lagoons and surrounding resorts, restaurants, and Ko'Olina village. Two families with 6 teenagers combined, something for everyone to do. Our first time visiting our daughter was 4 months old and the lagoon was a perfect way to enjoy the beach. ||Rooms are always comfortable and spacious. We had everything we needed to make breakfast for 10 (in a 3 bedroom) before heading out each day. We reserved an ocean view this time which was spectacular, but have also enjoyed the mountain view rooms in the past. ||Easy walk to the marina for a sunset cruise with surprise whales putting on a show. Nice to walk north past the other resorts, lagoons, and see turtles in the upper lagoon. ||Easy drive to Kopolei shopping and restaurants, and to North Shore. ||The weather is also better on this side of the island and it is not as busy, but still nice to have access to Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, etc. We have stayed on all the islands and Ko'Olina is our favorite location.

This resort is set up very nicely. Easy to navigate the towers and the grounds are beautiful. The time share presentation wasn't painful. The agent was very nice and not pushy at all. Only wish they had filtered water or bottled water available like the Hilton VCs and resorts have. We had to buy water at the store. Also would be nice if they had chairs set up for the movie on the lawn like Disney resorts have rather than having the guests find towels. There is a nice fire pit next to the lawn but they didn't have marshmallows or smores again like Disney resorts have. They have a nice exercise program and activities but they could adopt a few extra things from other resorts to make the experience truly special.

Great resort. Free parking self park in tower you stay in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool and lagoon. 2 restaurants are both good and nice to have when relaxing by the pool. 45 minutes - 1.5 hours drive to Honolulu depending on traffic. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. The studio has a king bed, a small refrigerator with freezer (great for left overs), coffee pot, sink, dishes and microwave. Beautiful sunsets every night from the lagoon area.

So my brother-in-law invited me down to stay in a two-bedroom timeshare at the marriott. Personally I hate timeshares, they are the biggest ripoffs ever having bought one myself unfortunately I figured out a way to get out of them. But regardless, the unit was nice, but a little outdated although my brother-in-law told me it was recently renovated. The second bathroom and I had the smaller room wasn't deep enough really to take a bath so I end up taking showers which I'm not a fan of. There was no safe in the junior suite side but there was one on the other side. The kitchen was very adequate, and the dining area was fine and the living area was fine. If you want to watch TV there's like 189 channels plus netflix, and you get some of the pay channels for free. Customer service was great, they bought us enough coffee to keep us up for at least two months. But there's no room service. The property is okay. I've been the properties in the Dominican Republic which were much nicer. There's only one restaurant, Longhis, and the dinner was good, but the lunch was a little lacking. They have a nice gym, and a steam room you can go to and they also have a spa which again is going to be expensive because it's a resort. Our room was nicely located at the very end of the hallway so no one bothered us. There are children there, of all ages and couples of all ages. So if you're looking for adults only this would not be the place. The beach is okay, in a sort of on an inlet. The view is very good. The drawbacks are there's only one restaurant. So you go to Roi's one time and find yourself having to deal with the traffic to and from Honolulu, so find out what are the best times to go. Avoid rush hour. Honolulu has some very nice restaurants if you don't mind the travel it's great. But if you're looking for fine dining at a timeshare Resort this is not the place to go. I find that the rooms were rather expensive based on other places I've been but this is Hawaii so expect to pay $1,500 Plus for two bedroom two bathroom timeshare. When I go back? No I wouldn't. I rather stay in honolulu. But I'll be honest with you I wasn't that enamored with Hawaii or at least oahu. I'd rather go on a cruise for the money and certainly the flight from where I live is a pain in the neck. But I didn't enjoy spending it with my brother-in-law and that was worth some of the problems that one can encounter and as well as the lack of restaurants.

We stayed 9 days here with our 4 kids (18-11yrs old) and it was fantastic. The lagoon is wonderful, especially if the sea is rough, you can swim and play in the lagoon safely.

We stayed in a 3 Bedroom unit with 9 people. There were 3 bathrooms and a spacious living space. We loved it. The facility has a nice fitness room with an adjacent sauna and steam room. It was great. It’s the only MVC property that I’ve visited that has such amenities. One of the pool areas is getting remodeled, but the other pool areas were sufficiently large enough for the guests. The service was great and all the hotel attendants were very gracious.

We had our second vacation here and it was just as enjoyable. Our villa was at Nai'a which was recently renovated and to our surprise there was a mini gym on the 4th floor. Not that the main gym is a distance away. We didn't join in the resort activities. The program looked well run starting early with 6 am yoga! If I remember correctly. Such a pleasant spot on the green by the beach. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Such a wrench to leave!
